What kind of lubricant is used in this syringe?

There isn't any Lubricant in the syringe. It's a silicone air seal that pushes very hard to get out your content/ whatever it's filled with. I used it for distillate and noticed it was extremely hard to push back out but I didn't want any other contaminates so I'm glad there wasn't any Lubricant added

will the glass and silicone of this syringe hold solvents without degrading? is the silicone as safe as HDPE plastic, which doesn't erode?

Borosilicate is designed to stay completely intact even when it gets loaded with hot liquids or oils.

Can these be sterilized in a pressure canner?

The glass can be but not the Luer lock cap and plunger
