Itโs okay but the Official CCNA Guide is probably better
The content is okay but the explanations and terminology might not be the best for a complete noob. Itโs an easy read but I think that this might better serve as a light supplement to an online course rather than a single source for studying.

Does not cover all exam topics!
Got to the end of the book and realized it does not cover any of the automation I have been hearing about with the new 200-301. Disappointed that I have to find the info elsewhere. If I am wrong about this in some way, please let me know and I will remove my review. I have never given anything a bad review but this is kinda simple math. When you are given a list of topics from Cisco, you should ensure that the self help book you write covers all of those topics. 6.0 Automation and Programmability 6.1 Explain how automation impacts network management 6.2 Compare traditional networks with controller-based networking 6.3 Describe controller-based and software defined architectures (overlay, underlay, and fabric) 6.3.a Separation of control plane and data plane 6.3.b North-bound and south-bound APIs 6.4 Compare traditional campus device management with Cisco DNA Center enabled device management 6.5 Describe characteristics of REST-based APIs (CRUD, HTTP verbs, and data encoding) 6.6 Recognize the capabilities of configuration management mechanisms Puppet, Chef, and Ansible 6.7 Interpret JSON encoded data

Great book learned allot. The only thing I didn't like, is no questions for the book? I'm I missing something here?

Book has to many terminologies which are not understandable for a freshman Author is presuming that reader know everything. Not happy with the book. Sorry but i will mention about the poor quality of the paper used to make book as well ๐๐ป Complete waste of time and money
