Personally I think Ghirardelli makes the best dark chocolate. The caramel in these squares just adds to the flavor. I keep them available as treats for friends and helpers. Haven't yet found anyone who dislikes them. Ghirardelli does not ship in hot weather but Amazon does, making them available year round. Highly recommend.

If you love decadent dark chocolate and creamy caramel, this is THE ONE for you. Some dark chocolates have a bitter aftertaste. Not this one. Every bite is so dreamy, not overly sweet and the caramel is incredibly smooth and complements the chocolate superbly. It does get messy if you are eager to eat it, but I think it’s meant to be delicately enjoyed. It tops all other chocolates and I have tried them all as a chocoholic. Get cozy, snuggle and treat yourself to the smoothest and best chocolate on the planet! Dare I say, better than sex. 😋

The chocolate squares were up to the quality of Ghiradelli chocolate that I expected. The flavor was very good, it was just expensive. Each chocolate was about 70 cents/oz with 5.32 oz in one bag. Each bag was about $3.5 dollars, which is on brand for Ghiradelli’s more luxurious brand. All in all, the chocolate was delicious.

These are as good as you would expect them to be. I rated 4 stars because there are not very many in the bag for the price. The bag is not even half full. Make the bag smaller for the few that are put in it.
