Great size for preschool/kindergarten
This backpack is cuter in person. We purchased the heart pattern for our 3 year old to use for preschool. It's a great size! Our daughter is 38 in tall and while the bag is a little big for her, she can carry it with no problem. I think they're great for age 3-6. At first we bought a preschool backpack from Pottery Barn, but when we received it we couldn't believe how tiny it was! After looking everywhere, we decided on this backpack since we love the Skip Hop bumble bee bag that we've had for a year. Some things could be better. I wish the front pocket wasn't see through, but it's not a big deal. Also, the lunch box section isn't exactly convenient. It makes it more difficult to get into the main compartment, but not so much that I wouldn't use it. The lunch box is a regular light weight lunchbox and serves its purpose. Overall a good buy.

Great quality. Small
Great quality. Small, but still has place for all folders. First pocket is clear, 2nd - cooler with clear window. 3 is for school supply and it is big enough and with little flat pocket for artworks. There is little inconvenient with zipper, because cooler pocket situated exactly under zipper and you need open last pocket wide for using it. Will be better if manufacturer move zipper close to center or back. And there is a place under cooler pocket (in big pocket). May be it will be an advantage, because it make place for jacket =)

cute!
Love this backpack lunch bag set. The backpack is slightly smaller than average backpacks, but a binder still fits inside. This is for my kindergartner.... and she loves it. I wanted something that matched that she could keep track of herself when starting school. Haven't used it yet to see how wear and tear is. My daughter could unzip it well and the lunch bag fits into the front pocket of the backpack.

Perfect fit
Perfect fit for my 5 year old tall kindergarden daughter. It is big, but not bulky so the kid looks just fine with it, does not pull their backs down to the ground. They do carry big folders and pretty huge supply box, not to mention that the lunch bag is stored in the backpack itself! But still looks supercute😚

Used for 2 years!
My daughter was able to use this for Kindergarten and 1st Grade, so we got 2 school years out of it! It's a great set and unique. The plastic in the front is starting to break apart now, so we're ready to retire it now, but it has held up great, and I love that it has its own spot for a lunch box. She never forgets it!

Super cute and functional for preschool and perhaps kindergarten aged children. PreK3 daughter loves it.
Our preK3 daughter's first backpack! Love it, and the various sections. The lunchbag is durable and cute. We loved the clear heart see through section, helps me to see if we put the lunchbag inside. Would not get for older child, maaaaybe kindergarten? Perfect for preschool and maybe kindergarten.

Everything we expected, and more!
This backpack is sturdy, adorable, and larger than expected. It is perfect for my daughter starting Kindergarten, and I feel like it will last a long time. The bonus, that I did not notice when I ordered it, is that there is a small clear pocket on the front that is perfect for sending a note to her teacher. I highly recommend this backpack.

We have this for While!
I really like this bag. It's cute and work for what we need it for. Our daughter is only a year & half. So we mostly use it for when she stays with friends for the day; and we just need to throw a few things in the bag instead of them having to tote around a full diaper bag. I love the lunch bag compartment.
