The item is listed as Silver Calcium but the package says nothing about Calcium at all. Is there a difference, because I need Silver Calcium

Not sure, but it does help heal open wounds

Does it have an expiration date?

Yes. It is visible in the picture but the purchase will be valid. The ones I purchased don’t expire till 2025.

Does it need tape or something to keep it in place?

You need a cover dressing such as Allevyn foam adhesive border or Tegaderm plastic film adhesive (or equivalent dressings) for a longer wear time. You can use gauze and tape if you choose. This product is meant to give extra absorption of wound drainage while providing antibacterial protection.
