No. It lasts a long time. It’s made of sturdy materials for the shower. I hang mine up outside the shower when I’m not using it though.

Can glasses be worn with it?

Hello Matt - Thank you for your question. That is an excellent question! Candidly, we have not tested the ShowrShield while using standard eyeglasses, but we see no design reason why glasses cannot be used while using the ShowrShield. The ShowrShield goes outwardly from the forehead to chin, and there should be plenty of clearance to wear standard eyeglasses without affecting the watertight design as the eyeglasses should not affect the patent approved water seal. However, with that being said, since we have not tested the ShowrShield with glasses being worn simultaneously we cannot 100% guarantee it’s performance. If you elect to purchase the ShowrShield we cannot guarantee it will work with glasses with absolute certainty, but we see no design or performance concern that wearing glasses would cause. Maybe? It shields your whole face from the top but spray and steam can still come up underneath. Water won't run down your face.
