Will they work on 18ga sheet metal ? What depth do i need

Not sure of the application- 18ga should be fine. If you overlap the button will likely not reach. Theres quite a few variations with dzus kit springs and buttons.

Tabs weld onto your project. Springs rivet to the tabs. Button goes through the panel you make and twists onto the springs to hold the panel in place.
