VELO BMX Gel Bicycle Saddle Black, 247x137mm

After getting back into bicycles recently, I was restoring an older Diamondback BMX that was in my garage. I wanted a seat to maintain the classic look of my bike, but it was imperative that it be comfortable enough to ride for more than 5 minutes. This seat DELIVERS on all accounts. It is well-crafted. The 2-part leather and fabric design is outstanding, durable, and comfortable. It has just the right amount of gel cushioning. The size is perfect for most small to standard BMX applications. If you happen to ride a 26" or above, this seat may be a little small. For everyone else, this is one of the best BMX seats that I have seen and ridden. VELO makes quality. RECOMMENDED!

Comfy and perfect size for a Murray Wildcat BMX bike.

I needed a better seat for my BMX as the stock one was angled and had no movement. I bought a new seat post and seat clamp for rail seats, and this seat works perfect. It's not super thick soft cushioning, but you don't really want that on a BMX. It's decent comfort for BMX, and looks cool.

I bought this gel seat as a replacement for the original hard, narrow, crotch-cutter seat that came stock on my 8 year-old grandson's 20" bike. He says this gel padded seat is a great improvement; being not only fully padded, but also a little wider in the front as well as the back. Best price & quality I found anywhere.

My Trek bike had a Velo seat as original equipment. So when it came time to replace it, I wanted to get another Velo seat. This is one of the least expensive Velos on Amazon. It has mesh sides instead of a full leather seat and is BMX size (5.5" wide). But it is well built and fits the rail mount perfectly. The original seat was 7" wide so it took some getting used to the narrower width. I did get used to it, however, and routinely bike thirty minutes without getting tired. Five stars because this is a Velo quality seat at a great price.

I need something for my son's Destro and this just happened to be the one my son picked because it was available same day. It was easy to install and the fit was spot on but it's not the most comfortable seat. The original seat was hard as a brick obviously because it's typical freestyle. This seat might be two notches above it's definitely not the best but it's not the worst either. My son is 10 years old and athletic, after about an hour he's ready to get off this seat. I chose another seat for my daughter's bike and my own and we can ride all day. I'm thinking about switching the seat out for something more comfortable. I would say this seat is on the same level as a Schwinn from Walmart. If you're planning long rides I would look at another direction.

This seat is very comfortable as is & it looks great on my Haro lineage Air Master . I wear hip protection shorts so that’s just a lot more cushion for the tushy . I will buy again if I ever need to but with these Velo seats I’ve never had a problem with them .
