Originally, my main flavor was cola. My preference was for the caffeine free version. The caffeine free cola tastes different from the regular, which makes little sense, but it's still my fav. Cherry cola is usually the least expensive, so I've been getting that lately, and it's quickly replaced cola as my go to. Dr Zevia is pretty tasty, and when you're in the mood for root beer, the flavor isn't too bad. I was craving orange soda a while back, but I was really disappointed in this flavor. Orange tasted more like chemicals to me, and the tiniest sliver of maybe orange flavor? Kinda? I know some reviews have mentioned Zevia tasting like chemicals, but I never had that issue until the orange. It will take a little bit for your taste buds to get used to the flavor difference between this and HFCS or other chemical sugar subs. It's worth it though!

Now I know why my Zevia has tasted bad the last several orders! The company changed owners ànd the soda HAS been changed! They were my fav since they first entered the Market. Constant changes in can amd box designs shpuld have alerted me. The taste was awful but it was NOT my allergies. NO ONE is BUYING it ANYMORE IN THE STORE. AVOID. *what are YOU using now?!

Why caffeine can cause irregular heartbeats and palpitations: Caffeine is a stimulant, and it speeds up activity in the nervous system. For some people, even a small amount can make the heart beat faster or harder, trigger “skipped beats,” or create fluttering or pounding sensations. Caffeine can increase the likelihood of palpitations or irregular rhythms, especially if someone is sensitive to stimulants or already dealing with stress, fatigue, or dehydration. What palpitations feel like: People often describe them as fluttering, thumping, racing, skipping, or a “flip‑flop” feeling in the chest. Caffeine can make those sensations more noticeable. Doctors often warn patients because caffeine raises adrenaline, and adrenaline affects heart rhythm. That combination can make palpitations more frequent. It doesn’t mean caffeine is dangerous for everyone — just that it’s something to be mindful of and not consume in excess.

I used to LOVE the original caffeine free cola, but I am not happy with the new formula. I don't like the new flavor as much as the original and I also feel that it loses its carbonation faster than the original formula. I used to be able to leave an open can in the fridge overnight, if I didn’t finish it, and the next day it would taste as if I had just opened it. The carbonation in the new formula does not last half as long, probably only as long as any other typical soda. I’m disappointed to say the least. I still prefer it over other sodas, but I wish they didn’t change the formula at all.

I love these Zevia drinks. However, sometimes the shipper handles them too roughly and half of the cans have popped out or leaked by the time I receive them!

I give this product five stars for the ingredients, but the flavor seems to be almost nonexistent now. It used to be better. Also, cans sometimes arrive crushed.
