KEA's buffer hood shrouds are for dust collection and containment that reduces air contaminates and cleanup time.They are made of heavy-duty 14 gauge steel. Your Baldor bench buffer will operate safer by entrapping the polishing wheel's particulate into the hood and exhausting out the back vent. The hood covers about half the wheel and can be tilted front-to-back by adjusting the clamps. The integrated 4" round vacuum outlet on the back lower portion of buffer hood shroud can be connected to KEA's motorized vacuum dust collector system via a flex hose. The outside buffer hood shroud cover can be removed easily to accommodate changing buffer wheels. Buffer hood shroud dimensions are 6" Depth x 7 1/2" Wide x 11" Length, and are used with BALDOR MODELS 407-B, 409-B, 410-B, or412-B bench polishers. The KEA buffer hood shroud is fully assembled. This buffer hood shroud connects to the left-hand side of the Baldor Bench Polisher housing – measured as if you were standing in front facing the Baldor Bench Polisher on/off switch.
