Can I just say... have you ever seen a light bulb that looks like this?? I had not! we have a small lamp in bedroom that sits on a dresser and you can see down into the lamp shade. It never looked BAD, but once I put thisligbht bulb in - it changed the look noticeably. It helps that the base of the lamp is gold & the shade is black. So the gold exposed top of the bulb looks pretty cool - very unique, stylish, & modern. I definitely like it!

Loving this product in my bedside wall sconce lamps. Puts off a perfect warm glow. The gold bottom on the bulb keeps the light from shining directly into my face while laying in bed. Great quality and looks gorgeous too!

I am tall, so my open ceiling fan lights got me right in the eye. So painful! I considered getting a whole new ceiling fan - but instead found these nifty bulbs! They no longer blind me but they still illuminate the room.

I like this bulb — it's ideal for the sorts of fixtures that utilize exposed bulbs that would otherwise be glaring right into your eyes. However, they are sporadically prone to defects. Like other users, I did have a problem with flickering in one of the bulbs in a 2-pack I ordered; the other bulb was fine. The flickering one quickly burned out. I reported the problem to Amazon support, and they set me up with a replacement without having to return the defective unit. Neat. Here is where I have to caution users about Amazon's service. A month later, I got an email telling me they were still waiting for me to send my return, with a link to a return label. I would have gladly returned what I received at the time of the problem, but was told I didn't have to, so I discarded the dead bulb. Now I'm being told if I don't send my return by such-and-such date, my card will be charged. Since I can't send the return now, I guess I'm screwed. Always keep an eye out for potential Amazon communication snafus.

Absolutely gorgeous LED bulbs. I'd never seen these gold coated bulbs before. Will look amazing in our new pendant lights. The glow is warm and inviting and these prevent glare. Love them!!!

This was exactly what I needed! I got this very cute open frame table lamp from Target to use at night to help me see my way back to the bed from the bathroom, but whatever bulb I tried was just a little much. They were just a little too bright to continue a restful momentum because of the lack of lamp shade. These bulbs did the trick! It brought the light back down to the floor where I needed it to be, and gives a nice warm glow. The gold is also such a beautiful accent to the wood/plants theme surrounding it. This was the only vendor I found selling a gold option and not just silver. I'm curious to see how long it holds up, and will come back to update my review if the quality is lacking.

I loved the look and wattage/brightness of these bulbs (got them in gold, 2700K) but they flicker like crazy and I can't use them! The constant flickering of the lights throughout the room hurts my eyes. I didn't know how to reach out to the seller to obtain help with their 1-year unlimited warranty. Clicking on the link in "Product Warranty: For warranty information about this product, please click here" just results in landing on a page that says "Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product. You may also be able to find warranty information on the manufacturer’s website." There's no email address I can easily find anywhere. I'm not a sleuth, and I need customer support. I will certainly update my review if the seller reaches out to me and offers to replace these bulbs. If not, the 1 star review stays.

Love the light but it's not bright enough for my room unfortunately. I'd recommend for mood lighting but not for main room lighting. My bedroom has no ceiling lights so I have to rely on lamps or plug in pendant lights. I didn't want something crazy bright and I thought these would work but they were too soft. Loved the uplighting though. Had to return though. Couldn't find anything to use it for.

The picture does not do justice to how they actually look in real life. My pictures makes it seem like they aren't bright but they are very bright and light up the entire room without causing you to go blind if you accidentally get a glance of the bulbs! My son would alway stare at the bulbs and that made me switch all the light bulbs in my house to half chrome bulbs and it was one of the best decisions of my life! Yes they are a bit expensive compared to regular bulbs but they last so much longer and wont damage your eyes! They are just as bright or maybe even brighter than regular incandescent bulbs and wont cause pain in your eyes and head! Led bulbs definitely last longer and because it is only 2700k, it is not as white as most led bulbs! It’s a perfect balance between yellow and white light and just absolutely perfect for light fixtures with bottom exposed bulbs.

These are fantastic light bulbs. I love the soft amber colour and the shadows they cast.

The size the bulbs is perfect, I needed a larger bulb so these fit the bill. I had a light fixture that didn’t have a protective shield at the bottom to prevent directly looking at the bright lightbulb. These help so that when I look in that direction the light doesn’t hurt my eyes. When the light is off, it also completely elevated the fixture. Knocked a star because from the pictures, I thought the bulbs would be a different tone of gold. The gold in person is more of an orangey metal so it does look a little cheaper than I expected for the price. Bulbs like these are very hard to find though so, it still gets a good rating as it did improve the look of the light.

These lightbulbs are perfect! I use it on an industrial lamp stand without a shade, and the half chrome design gives the bulb a beautiful, stylish look. It provides the perfect amount of warm yellow light, creating a cozy and inviting vibe in the room. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add both function and style to their lighting!

Didn’t expect how these bulbs would enhance a custom fixture recently installed, controlling brightness and adding a translucent nature to the marble discs, gold toned accents mesh with the gold chroming on the bulbs. 11/10, and absolutely no flickering from the bulb when dimming any percentage of light whatsoever!
