KitchenAid is always reliable. I think I ruined my last one because I kept putting in the dishwasher. The directions on this one said not suitable for the dishwasher. It was a great buy because it was less expensive than the stores I checked. Blade is sharp, easy to turn and opens cans easily.

Works great! I have tried many hand held can openers and none of them are ever as good as kitchen aid brand. Easy to use and quality feels great, loved the color. Cuts through cans well.

This is a beautiful and easy to use opener. I used to have one in mint green that I got as a wedding gift 15 years ago and it finally just broke. Also, really like that. It has the bottle opener on the top which I’ve used many times. The wide twisting knob makes it easy to turn even for those with arthritis.

Do you remember that first manual can opener you picked up at the thrift store when you were in college or maybe when you got your first apartment. I remember mine and it was a horrific little tool. Price wise, it’s more expensive than the can opener you’ll get at a discount store but it’s worth every penny. It’s a great value for a modest investment. I’d not hesitate to buy it again.

Pretty, well-designed instrument. My only "issue" is that, as the description says, it is NOT "dishwasher safe". I destroyed my last opener washing it in the dishwasher. I was looking for one that could handle that. This is not it but I'll keep it anyway it's so pretty and well-designed and just do as I must: Hand wash.

Very easy to use and doesn’t require a lot of force. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and easily I was able to open cans. Bottle opener on top is also nice to have handy. Design looks modern and it’s easy to clean. No rust.

Nice quality & heavy metal can opener. I love that I can color coordinate all of my kitchen products. Love the color!! It’s great for any can & performs like a champ.

There is nothing like going back to the old tried and true can opener I used during my childhood instead of the electric can opener plus this one doesn't take up much cherished counter space. I bought an electric can opener but decided to send it back, even though it was less expensive than this one.
