XCBYT Magnetic Side Window Sun Shade, 100% Blackout Privacy Sun Protection

I love these. I live in Texas and the heat indexes have been rising. I drive a 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport and it fits my frames well and covers my windows. My car is not under a carport, so it's in the sun all day. I have noticed it has dramatically reduced the temperature inside the car. It feels like 70°F inside the car while it's 90°F outside. I do wish it came with a bag or something to store them, but they fold up easily and can easily be taken down and put back up again in just a minute

This product is advertised as universal with the clause that it may not fit every vehicle. For my Honda Pilot it covers a vast majority of the windows but there are slight gaps (pictured). When I first put it on the driver window there was a fairly big gap, but the magnets are slightly adjustableby sliding them inside the fabric which allowed me to minimize the gaps. The bottom of the shades do not have magnets. Since I really wanted these for the front windows, I did not verify the back window dimensions prior to ordering. They are slightly smaller than my windows and the magnets cannot be adjusted perfectly to the edges due to the plastic pieces on the car. The material is very thin, so I am mildly concerned about the longevity of it. I am happy with the sunshades and would purchase again.

Used these at a rest stop for a overnight sleep break. Quick and easy to put up. Depending on how your door trim works, you may need to attach to the frame of the actual door or the to the car frame itself. Either way, the strong magnets worked well. Don’t forget a blackout solution for the front and rear windows. The car was perfectly blacked out which made it easy to fall a sleep quickly. The storage bag is also large enough to repack the panels. Finally, I like that the black out look from the outside makes the car just look empty with a casual glance (especially at night). If you want to crack the windows open, it will not impact the panels, especially if your windows have a frame all the way around the window.

Only thing I would change about this product is the magnets need extra stitching to keep them in place. They will slide around along the edge as the stitching on mine came loose. This might be a good thing as I may move the magnets to more optimal places for my vehicle and then sew them into their new place. The shades are very effective at blocking out light. They are fantastic to reduce the temperature inside of a vehicle and protecting the interior from sun damage.

At first, I love everything about these shades. Living in Arizona, I use them every day. I loved the size, shape, and ease of use. From the outside they make my car just look like I have really dark windows. They cool off the car a lot when paired with a windshield cover. You can even lower the windows a little or a lot with them in use. I use them on a SUV and I’m sad that it didn’t come with a cover for the window on the hatchback. I need something there. The only real con is that with repeated use the magnets have slid around the edging leaving some areas with no magnets and this means it doesn’t attach. Many of the magnets have broken through the material and remain around the frame of the window after I remove the shade. I can sew so I’m going to experiment with reinforcing the edge band. I would give 5* and buy a set for every car I own if the quality was just a little better.

The fit is a little wonky because it’s a universal cut, but they work great. Definitely keeps the temp inside the car down, and they’re great for if you’re eating in your car and want some privacy. Magnets are great, I leave them up for days at a time and they don’t fall.

If you’re looking for something to keep the cabin cool + private these are exactly for you. I bought suede. Pro’s - magnets are good, pulls like a curtain very well. - curtains allowed car to cool down drastically faster once AC started What you should expect: -Once you’re driving you’ll need to draw them back for visibility. For the driver’s side blind spot, you’ll need to remove it completely. Or you won’t be able to check your blind spot. -Once you draw the curtains back or remove them, there’s 0% heat reduction and you’re back in an oven. So it’s really only designed for parked cars & privacy. That’s exactly what you should expect.

First off, there is a super weird smell pulling it out of the bag and you may want to air them out a bit. Second, the magnets are placed inconsistently and some aren't even where the tabs are placed. For these reasons I knocked a star. For the good parts: if you want darkness or privacy, this is it. Installation is literally just fitting it to your door frame and adjusting over corners. This folds up with ease and I just have each one in the respectful door cubby. For reference, I am using this in a newer Kia Soul; it fits the windows perfectly. Great purchase for the price!

Pas mal car occultants, aimantés et réfléchissent la lumière. Ils ne recouvrent malheureusement pas toute la fenêtre car la forme ne correspond pas (bwm), mais malgré tout ils sont facilement utilisables et font le job. De bonne qualité aussi.

Utilisés sur skoda octavia 3 5E combi face lift. À l'avant c'est pil poil les bonnes dimensions. Pour les vitres arrières 5cm plus long aurait été super. Mais ça couvre bien. Les aimants sont puissants, permettent un repositionnement facile en faisant glisser. Un en plus pour la hauteur la plus longue à l'avant aurait été apprécié. De même pour l'arrière de chaque plus bas en hauteur. Protègent bien du soleil. Sous 36 degrés en attendant dans la voiture et fenêtres entre ouverte seul le vent un peu plus frais passait. Pas de soucis pour rouler avec ceux arrières placés, meilleur confort pour les enfants. Habitué à conduire et manœuvrer avec les rétros, ça ne me gêne pas et ce n'est pas interdit par la loi. Repasser avant à l'envers position soie fer à repasser pour éliminer les plis tenaces de la livraison. Pour les ranger, mon coffre me permet de les mettre superposés sans les replier sous mon tapis de coffre. Produit pratique à recommander au vu de la nouvelle vague de chaleur.

Son universales, pero se adaptan muy bien con los imanes a las ventanillas.
