How will these last? In other words, are they like extracts that don't go bad?

I've had these for about a year now and they are just as potent as the day I purchased them. They don't gum up or loose flavor at all. Same as extracts.

Can these oils be used with wax to make candles?

No. You do not want or need bakery flavored emulsions or oils. Pure essential oils can be found from several sources. Like Lavender, Rose, Citrus, Eucalyptus,Pomegranate, etc.
