Very touching and awesome movie/ Spoilers
I have watched most of the X-Men movies...Not the one where most of them died...So, the last one or two I haven't seen but to see Wolverine with a daughter is defiantly different and I never really seen him dyeing in the end. I watched the movie not having any clue how it would go and I know it doesn't follow the comics as much as some people would like but barely giving anything a 5 myself.... Defiantly worth watching at least once. I have watched several times myself.

Interesting and intense
This movie shows a more vulnerable side of Logan. The fights scenes were intense, but this movie sticks to more of a storyline rather than constant fight scenes. Also, Boyd Holbrook is in this, and hot as usual.

Best Wolverine movie
Gritty, but full of heart. Best performances ever from Sir Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, and new comer Dafne Keen!! The acting was some of the best in ANY Marvel movie. Action/fight scenes were some of the best ever. Love this movie!

Melancholy but Enjoyable.
Spoilers ahead: I think the best of the Wolverine-centered movies - but also difficult - and rather an anti-hero movie instead of a superhero movie. Magneto’s dire predictions have come true in the time between X-men Apocolypse and Logan, this movie being set in the not distant future; humans have hunter mutants to extinction, but have also been trying to make soulless killing machines from mutant genes. Mutants are seen as undesirable and dangerous things rather than as people - which makes it possible for people to countenance their extinction. One hopes that if ever such mutations began to appear in the real world, we’d not act in this way. In X-Men Apocalypse, Dr. Trask quotes a paper that says that Homo Sapiens killed off the Neanderthals, which may be true in part,or we simply out-competed with them for resources, or there may never have been too many of them, and they became extinct through extensive inter-breeding with Homo Sapiens. If you do an DNA test, you’ll discover, if you have any European DNA, that you have some Neanderthal genetic material, eg., I am. 3% Neanderthal. For so much DNA to survive for more than the 20,000-30,000 years since Homo Sapiens encountered them, there had to be a heck of a lot of interbreeding back then. 3% is about the same as you’d share with a 2nd cousin, meaning a 2nd cousin, (ie., last relatives in common would be great grandparents.) But, back to the movie, this movie is one in which the once virile and powerful hero is now enfeebled, and his child is almost as powerful as he is in his current state. This makes it hard to watch him in his weakened and self-destructive phase. Back in X-Men: Days of Future Past, it was predicted that eternity would begin to feel like a curse, and for Logan, this prediction has become true in this movie. Consequently, he is self-destructive and, though he knows something is poisoning him from within, he is allowing it to happen. Only the appearance and presence of Laura, his daughter, keeps him alive for as long as he continues living. And, just as with John Dies In The End, Logan dies in the end of this movie. Jackman has an illness, feels he’s aged out of the character, and doesn’t want the public to become tired of the Wolverine. Thus, his last outing as Wolverine. If Marvel reboots the X-men in a few years now that they’ve regained ownership of the X-Men copyrights, we’ll probably see Wolverine again. Anyway, an unexpectedly melancholy movie but still enjoyable.

Not Only One of the Best Super Hero Movies Ever Made, but Also One of the Best Movies of the Year
Movie Review (Non Spoiler) (9.5/10) Masterpiece Director and Writer: James MangoldStarring: Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keene, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant Plot: It's 2029, and mutants no longer roam the Earth as most of them have been wiped from existence. Logan finds himself working as a limo driver to support his mutant friends - a dementia stricken Professor Xavier and Caliban. However, their lives are turned over when a mysterious little girl as well as the trouble that she brings enter into their lives... This is the "Dark Knight" dramatic entry of the X-Men universe and it's not only one of the best super hero movies of all time - "Logan" also happens to be one of the best movies of the year. Finally, Wolverine is given his dark, gritty no holds barred action movie with plenty of bloody violence and vulgar language that he deserves. However, the violence and strong language never feel forced, but serve the greater story and emotional drama of the characters and themes involved in this movie. This movie stands apart from other X-Men movies with Wolverine, because this Wolverine is such a defeated, downtrodden, down-on-his-luck underdog as he so desperately tries to make amends for his past sins and to help his last remaining closest friends as well as Laura aka X-23. Hugh Jackman delivers a powerful performance as he displays sadness for his friends, and incredible berserker rage for his enemies. His parental guidance and development of his relationship with Laura are also believable and the driving force of this movie. I have never seen Keene in another movie before but her performance as a badass child killer is a sight to behold as she dispatches her enemies with such ferocity as well as shows her vulnerability as a mutant child finding her place in this crazy world. Stewart also shows different shades as a sick Professor Xavier who is struggling to hold onto his sanity and delivers a poignant performance. I also found myself caring for Merchant's Caliban as he cares for Xavier and Logan and Merchant makes an obscure character into one the audience cares for. My only gripe with the movie is that they never really delve into the facts of how Xavier hurt his friends in the past before his mind fell apart, but this is a small gripe when considering the greater scope and drama of this film. You don't need to watch the other X-Men movies to enjoy this film, but if you do enter this movie after watching all the other movies that came before, the drama that unfolds for Logan and Xavier will leave you emotionally destroyed and caring for these characters. A tour de force and I also recommend watching this movie in IMAX if your local theatre offers it as the images are more striking and the sounds are more blood curdling.

Fantastic End to Jackman's Run as Wolverine
Probably fair to call this both Hugh Jackman's and the writers 'masterpiece' in terms of the Wolverine character as portrayed for the X-men films and the Wolverine spin-offs. Jackman really made this character his own over the years and although he wasn't my favourite character - either in the original cartoons or the transition to the big screen - he is one of the few characters I think they continued to develop really well throughout the franchise and one whose evolvement always had a little extra depth to it.I loved different aspects about the first two Wolverine films and they were pretty good as a whole, but I enjoyed this one as a whole much more - without any spoilers, it's very different from everything we have seen before with the character and with an X-men film. It's a very different kind of superhero film, without all the gloss. It feels more reflective and serious rather than being about dazzling the audience with special effects and bright colours and this makes it feel much more grown up and meaningful in different ways, so it's easy to invest in and take more seriously rather than just something you turn your brain off for to enjoy the special effects and inevitable save-the-day-happy-ending you expect with most superhero films . It's more gritty, more real, much more adult and the impact feels bigger and more significant because of it.Jackman is at his best as a very weathered different kind of Wolverine, Patrick Stewart puts in a great performance as a decaying Xavier who is on his last legs, so to speak, and the relationship between them is realised incredibly well, lending itself quite naturally to both comedic and tragic moments - it feels heavy, but there are still light and touching moments also. But the young girl playing the young mutant X23, a kind of mini Wolverine with extra bite, is definitely the star of the show. It seems crazy they didn't follow this up with a film of her own!
