Amazing phone used from last 4yrs. This phone is above my expectation

I am posting this review after 30 days of continuous usage.🎁 Display: 4/5🎁 Build quality: 4/5🎁 Camera: 3/5🎁 Battery: 4.5/5🎁 Screen: 4/5🎁 Sound: 4.5/5🎁 Touch: 4/5🎁 Performance: 4/5Pros:1. Fingerprint and face unlock are super fast.2. The touch is smooth but could be smoother.3. Beautiful colors are available, I am using Neptune Blue.4. Feel and Look is just awesome.5. The notch is small which is great.6. RAM and Internal Memory are quite good at this price point.7. The processor is super fast.8. Build quality is good.Cons:1. While watching videos, screen quality seems to have degraded a lot. While performing other actions, the screen looks quite good.2. The temperature of the device reaches an abnormal temperature after 30-40 minutes of gaming.3. IPS Display which is HDR Enabled is not up to the mark.4. The camera is not up to the mark.Though anyone can opt for this device, despite these cons as it as an overall beast in this price segment.

Hi, I was looking phone for my mom as her older Iphone 5S was not working well so sold on Cashify with nice price and started searching phones over Amazon, YouTube, Flipkart and other sites because her priority for handy size small phone. I don't wanted to buy iPhones again due to some limitations of budget and other factors but then i found on YouTube this Redmi Note 8 as a suggestion from many reviewers then i checked this one on Amazon and found really nice review then i decided somehow this phone although it was just like double in size but still due to my notes i decided this.When i got this product and given to her she was happy for new phone but smiled and said it's bit big but when she started using it she feels this is most wonderful phone with nice bettery which can run upto 2 days even and she impressed with Mi features finally and she feel so happy to have this phone.Bettery life is awesomeCamera is awesomephone quality is also very niceMost worthy phone in this price rangealso her choice was like to have 🎤 so that she can just say and auto type in hindi and English and this is most powerful phone which can gently understand and convert words into text which was not that much good in iPhone.At the end yes if you are thinking to biy it just buy it you will feel worthy phone.Regards,Happy Mi Customer😊

#Totallly A Beast in this Price range. Honest Review after 3 months Usage.Pros:-1. Excellent Camera. Even Low light photos surprised after 2nd system update.2. Looks quite premium as GG5 on front and back. A bit slippery so You need a case.3. In this particular price range, Processor is fine. Pubg in medium Setting works great. Even Fortnite can run smoothly on medium settings.Cons:-1. The main problem is bettery. Though it has big battery but it drains very often even in watching videos for long. Need to fix this in updates.2. Two out of 10 times Device gets heated a bit while Playing games. Needs an game optimization update for hard gaming.You can go for it. In this particular price range, It's a beast. :)

After all the hype I managed to buy the blue colour variant 4GB/64 GB. My initial impressions were very disappointing and after using the phone for two weekks I can safely say that phone has some bugs and quallity issues which I would like to mention:1) Biggest flaw is notification icons disappearing from the notification shade after appearing for few seconds. I tried my best to fix it by going through number of suggestions available on internet including factory reset. Hopefully Xiaomi will try to fix it.2) The flashlight/torch is very weak and even my older Redmi Note 3 has brighter torch/flashlight.3)Camera is pretty average and hard to believe how the 48 mp mode is giving average pictures. Wide angle mode is also poor and the other two modes are in my opinion just gimmick.4)One basic flaw if you are using two sims the second sim icon will be displayed only when you are using wifi.I am really disappointed with these bugs/defects and just hope this is my last association with Xiaomi. Last but not thr least if you are looking for a ohone with great experience of gaming then you should not opt for this phone.To conclude if you are a Xiaomi fan just opt for 10k version and hope that some of the errors mentioned above are fixed by Xiaomi.Review after MIUI 11 Update:- I got an OTA for MIUI 11 on 27th November 2019. After the update the problem of disappearing notification icons from the notification shade has been solved. Second sim icon is also now displayed in the notification shade which was earlier missing. I can now say without any hesitation that this is the best phone in 10k range.
