Short Answer: Yes. DATEM (an acronym for Diacetyl Tartaric Acid Esters of Monoglycerides) is composed of mixed esters of glycerin in which one or more of the hydroxyl groups of glycerin has been esterified by diacetyl tartaric acid and by fatty acids. The ingredient is prepared by the reaction of diacetyl tartaric anhydride with mono- and diglycerides that are derived from edible sources. Mono- and Diglyercides are derived from Partially Hydrogenated Oils; Mono- and Diglyercides is the new name for the same old trans fat, reclassified as an emulsifier so that it need not be reported on the nutrition panel as the trans fat (hydrogenated oil) it truly is.

Much know the expiration date befor purchase? May not have a long enough exp.date for time of use?

Received Mini Moo's half & half from Amazon today, 11/06/2019. the expiration date is 12/172019 ! that is not a long shelf life. Thatis less than 6 weeks!!

Do they rare like powder taste or cow milk?

Taste like regular half and half. Just ultrapasturized so it does not require refrigeration. Have to be able to use all within 3 months to make useful though
