Stargazer Semi-Permanent Lip Stain Pen #04 Dusky Pink

The color, I wouldn’t really describe as a “dusty pink” I would say this is more of a medium/deep mauve or maybe even a light type of raisin color. Very blue based but muted. I do quite like the shade. It’s a more “mature” type of pink. If you have a medium-dark, olive/green tone you’d probably like it or even if you have a deeper skin tone. Lighter skin can def pull it off but it is a fairly deeper shade and may not have as much of a natural/nude lip look compared to a lighter shade. I mean, it is a lip stain so I’d assume you could just use a wipe to remove some of the pigment so it can lighten up the color a tad.The product feels completely weightless. With a mask I don’t even notice it on but it does last all day for me. If you have dry lips, you may want to use a lip balm before or scrub any dead skin off beforehand. I don’t really recommend lip balm or gloss over just because the emollients will dissolve the pigment and so it will transfer/not last as long but it is a nice product and I definitely want to get more of their shades. It worked A LOT better than I expected. I was always hesitant about these types of marker lip products but this stuff is amazing. Highly recommend.Edit:In order to get an even color on fuller lips you have to overlap a bit and the colors does get quite plum colored, however, if you just use a baby wipe you can adjust the pigment. I wipe it a few times and it’s a nice sort of mauve pink that is enough color to not make me look washed out but it’s not so pigmented that It’s a focal point

This will stay put as soon as you apply it. If you don't wipe off your excess color within 0.2 seconds, it will not budge. Water will not remove this product, so you will need makeup wipes or something stronger to remove it. I do like that it stays all day when I want it to and the color is beautiful. It matches my lips so accurately, more than other lip products I've ever tried. This is good for someone who doesn't want to commit to a permanent lip tattoo but doesn't want to struggle with the hassle of liquid lipsticks or lip liners that have to be reapplied throughout the day and smear when you try to eat.

This pen has a lovely sort of neutral purple color. I liked it a lot as it matches my natural color well and is easy to apply for a newbie to lip stuff. It’s not very pigmented which I also liked as some lip pens it’s hard to add some color and not look like a clown. I would absolutely recommend this pen and plan to repurchase when it runs out.

This is my new go to lipstick (stain). I have tried so many long lasting lipsticks and nothing sticks or stays for more than an hour or so. They the "longer" they last the dryer I feel. This lasts and I can put a lip gloss without it getting color everywhere.

Color was a natural match to my lips. A more subtle cool/raisin color. Not bright!

Color is a little darker than I thought it would be. It does stay on pretty well but the color goes on somewhat uneven. I always use a creamy lipstick over it because it is a bit drying on my lips.

I am a senior. The color in my lips is dissapearing. This lip stain is great. Lasts a good 12 hours. If I have it on when I go to sleep, I wake up and have lips.

Its ok but u have to keep replying throughout the day

Good deep dusky pink colour. These are like felt pens, great for defining lip shape and adding volume by putting colour right up to edge of lips. Really long lasting despite eating and drinking. Only downside is that pens dry up quickly but then they don’t cost much.

This is a lovely colour and it stays on my lips better than any other lip stain or lipstick that supposed to be long-lasting. Nothing stays very long on my lips but this is better than any other I have used.

Some stain pens leave a residue like paint. Yuk! These are great by comparison. A true stain, they are highly pigmented and do last all day.

I swear by these pens!Strong vibrant colours with all day!Fully kiss proof , no smug or glass transfers.Better than any liquid lipstick! Even stains that inner bit of your lip that lipstick always rubs off of.Make sure your lips are well scrubbed of dead skin and moisturised before applying.Does stain your lips very well but can be hot off with good makeup remover! I sometimes use them under a normal lipstick as a firm colour base.Never used a lip stain better than star gazers!!A must try. If you love strong long lasting vibrant colours!
