Just ordered some on Monday, arrived yesterday, tried for first time last night. Have a patch of rough, flaky, itchy skin on my forehead, have tried Tamanu oil (which I use often and like lots), Argan oil (again, been using for years) and plain ole moisturizers to try to treat and calm. None have worked. Put a drop or two on my hand, used finger to apply the Emu oil to the spot, rubbed it in and went to bed. Woke overnight (insomnia, it happens) and put another drop on the spot for good measure, and went back to sleep for a few. This morning.. not gone, BUT...... wow!!!! The difference is noticeable and dramatic. Spot is no longer as dry appearing or feeling, not itchy at all, and no flakiness. I bought this with all the positive reviews boosting me along, and I am very happy I did. Thank you Emu oil, thank you to the Emus, and thank you to the reviewers!! Will update if anything changes, but at this rate I figure the area will be back to normal by Monday.

Emu oil was recommended to me by my piercer, because I wanted to remove my eyebrow piercing, and she said that the oil would help break down scar tissue and reduce dark spots. So I waited until I had this, took the piercing out, and it was nasty - a huge knot of scar tissue, and I could tell it would leave a nasty mark. I massaged it with emu oil twice a day and within a couple days, the knot was about gone. It's great on old scars I've learned, as well.It's also been great for my healing piercings, and even my microdermals. They have the tendency to get angry when the gunk under the skin builds up, so I dry them out with tea tree oil. Then the skin gets dry and peels, of course, so I use the emu oil and the problem is gone.I also use this to heal tattoos - it DOESN'T LET THEM SCAB! That's ideal! Scabbing means the skin is dry, and the dryness has gone too deep. Always aim for peeling when healing tattoos. This product does just that. I use it, nothing happens until about day four, and then it peels all at once and boom, it's all done! Never even itches! Also used this when I had a gnarly tattoo infection from overworked skin... the scabs were beyond awful; incredibly thick and dry. I used the oil as the scabs fell off, where the skin was taught and red and the tattoo looked ruined... to my surprise, the oil scabbed them up again, and it healed properly and broke down the scar tissue that had popped up.On another note, I use this in the ends of my hair, and it works 10x better than any silicone-loaded crap you could buy in the store for keeping your hair feeling naturally smooth.I've not used this product yet for my arthritis, because I wind up using it so quickly for everything else - which says a lot because one drop of this goes a LONG way. The price is incredible, and the only two ingredients are the emu oil and vitamin E, which is another fantastic oil for scars and soothing the skin.If you're on the fence about this, try the 1oz bottle (it'll last you so long) because you can't beat the price, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I love this product it seems a little oily when first applied but it is absorbed into the skin rapidly, and a little bit goes a long way. I use just a little bit it under my makeup and I also use it at night has a night moisturizing cream, it has truly improve the softness of the skin on my face and mind you me I am in my late fifties. I also use it on my husband’s face with the same good results. I mix it with some organic jojoba oil in a separate container when I apply it at night. I will definitely purchase it again.

This product was very inexpensive, but works really well. I add it to pretty much everything. My face lotion, body lotion, conditoner etc. It is very thick and you don't want to use it that way. What I do is when I am getting in the shower I fill the sink with hot water and set the bottle in while I am showering. Afterwards it has thinned out. You just need to shake it and empty the contents of the syringe back into the bottle. It only takes a little bit and your skin will feel much softer. After using it just a few times my husband commented on how much softer my legs were. This is from a man that doesn't seem to notice much of anything.I purchased this originally after googling hair growth products and emu oil came up. For some reason I had lost a chunk of eyelashes and they seemed to be taking forever to grow back. This product really seemed to hasten their regrowth. I used it again after having eyelash extentions for a few months and having them removed I barely had any of my own eyelashes left. I looked like a baby chicken. Again this really helped them to grow back quicker. I would put a little on a brow brush and brush it along the base of my lashes. I would suggest giving it a try.

I had stumbled upon an article where the author said that if there was a miracle cure for piercings, emu oil would be it. That's quite the claim and since I have a 12-week old cartilage piercing in my right ear that was getting quite painful, I was willing to give it a try. The piercing was VERY tender and painful to the touch and I was doing the sea salt cleanings several times a day and it wasn't getting better. I also have a couple new earlobe piercings that were having trouble healing too. I applied the emu oil once a day for 3 days and what a difference! The pain was reduced by at least 30%. The 4th day I applied the emu oil 3 times and by the 5th day there was nearly zero pain! WHAT?!?!?!?! Seriously - this stuff really worked for me! I purchased the 1oz bottle and for use on my ear piercings, I expect it to last a while. I dip a q-tip into the bottle and rub the oil on both sides of the piercing, then move the piercing around to get the oil into the hole. The product is a milky white color - similar to coconut oil - and there is zero smell. I was skeptical at first since this brand is cheaper than other emu oils but it worked so I'm a happy! Highly recommend!
