Carhartt is a well-known brand for making fantastic products. The dog collar is a nice shade of tan with reflective strips that you can see when the light hits them. It fits great on my friends dog, since I gifted her the collar for her husky. The texture of the collar feels nice under your fingers and does not have the rough irritating texture that some dog collars are known for. I would highly recommend this dog collar. It is on the more expensive side of things, but it's built to last. So far, so good.

I prefer this collar to leather or plastic. So does my old Catahoula. The stitching reflects at night and I bought the matching leash. Attractive and great quality.

Excellent collar, although the insert lash may be plastic so you can push it in to lock and unlock the connection all other hardware is brushed brass. Reflects brightly at night. It's like all of Carharts stuff, it's nice and made well.

I ordered the medium size of the “Brown/Brushed Brass” color and received it today. You can see from my picture, the brown is actually much darker, and the hardware is all black, not brass. It seems like I might have received the wrong one, as it looks more like the “Carhartt Brown (lighted collar)” color selection. Although there’s no light on it…Other than that, it seems like high quality so we’ll see how it holds up!

My first one lasted years on my fox hound and against my GSP constantly wanting to play and always going for the collar. Have one on the GSP as well in a different color. The metal clip finally cracked from the abuse but never came unsecured. I replaced it with the exact one. Will replace my GSP one next just to have a clean look again.
