NoNoise earplugs are the world's most advanced hearing protection. It is the first with a precision sound filter positioned deep in the ear canal. Therefore, you can be sure that the maximum level of sound waves will be filtered out first and not 'filtered' past the filter. NoNoise is the next generation in hearing protection. NoNoise patented sound filters are made of a special zirconium oxide ceramic material. The quality of this high-tech ceramic material ensures precision attenuation and high-definition sound. The Venturi-shaped channel, running through the center of the filter, absorbs sound waves unlike other filters (even the most expensive earplugs use a straight channel) ensuring the best quality, protection and muffled sound. It's like adjusting the volume. NoNoise is a silicone-free construction, especially appreciated by those who wear their hearing protectors regularly and have health problems. This unique thermoplastic outer material also provides a supremely soft and comfortable feel, even when you're sleeping in NoNoise hearing protectors or wearing them for long periods of time. And with no muting effect, you'll hardly notice you're wearing them so you'll quickly get used to them.

Loud enough to feel, quiet enough to save
Normally my ears are ringing 20 minutes into a ride. I’ve only been at it for 2 years but I’ve already lost a bit of my hearing. And I was resistant to using foam plugs for the pressure and complete shutting out of the road. Sirens, horns, railroad crossings. Plus, I like the sound of my exhaust. Just not the level. These plugs though? They block out the low, damaging frequencies like wind/road noise and dampen the exhaust to bearable levels. Wore them for 3 hours, forgot I was wearing them, no pain. I was even able to speak over two engines at a red light to another rider. And hear what he was saying. Bonus points for being easily and infinitely washable.I’d say it’s worth it if you wanna hear the road. If you just want pure quiet? Stick to the foam plugs

Perfect
I was really surprised that my ears were not ringing after I performed in a very loud blues band. The volume is reduced, but you can still hear everything and even engage in conversation. As they promise, there's no stuffiness to the sound; it's balanced. I forget I'm wearing them. I got them because they are latex-free. They show no sign of wearing out after many uses. The piece inside that does the noise attenuation is not vulnerable to wear because it is hard plastic with no moving parts. Nice to know I don't have to pay more for exactly the right result.

Excellent resource to protect your hearing
I bought these as the ringing in my ears has gotten worse over the years and I decided to try to do something to protect my hearing. I just used these during about 30 minutes of impact drilling into concrete and my hearing was completely unchanged instead of the high pitched ringing I usually get after being around this type of noise. Additionally, the Nonoise ability to not block all of the higher pitches sounds is significantly better than any other sound blocking device I have used. You still get a bit of that 'underwater' hearing effect, but not nearly to the extent of even most sound dampening headphones I've tried. Talking to people while these are in was significantly easier as well. I would recommend these to anyone trying to protect their hearing and look forward to trying these at the next concert I go to.

Works great for tool noise on construction sites
Bought these for my wife for use at work as she's a carpenter and is using loud machines and tools all day. She said they drastically reduced the tool noise (saws, heavy machines, drills, etc) but that she could still hear her co-workers clearly. She might be convincing her co-workers to get some as they usually skip hearing protection because they can't hear each other with the foam plugs.

Great for musicians
I play guitar in a funk/blues/jazz band, and practices can get quite loud. To protect my hearing, I bought several brands of earplugs including Hearos, Etymotic, and NoNoise (music version). With standard foam earplugs, the high frequencies are disproportionately attenuated such that all you hear is the low (bass) frequencies. As a musician, this is a nightmare--all you can hear are the bass notes and the drummer's kick drum. Of the three brands I've tried, NoNoise does the best job maintaining the high frequencies while reducing the overall volume of the music. There is a tiny bit of roll-off at the highest frequencies, but I was able to play a live show while wearing them. With the other brands (Hearos and Etymotic), the reduction of high frequencies was too great to make them useful on stage. The NoNoise earplugs are the priciest of the bunch, but they are worth the extra cost.

Maybe the best of its type, but definitely cannot be considered high fidelity
Although these were supposedly designed for loud music, and promise to "not deform the sound" , they definitely do not attenuate the entire audible band equally. I tried them with headphones on and found that the higher frequencies are attenuated much more than the lower frequencies. Unlike "dumb" fiber or foam earplugs, these do let some of the highs through, but the overwhelming passage of the bass frequencies eliminate any possibility of hearing a reasonably flat/balanced sound through them.To their credit, these sound no worse than any other brands of passive high fidelity ear protection I've tried. They just aren't much better either.Oh, one more quibble: these will not fit if you have relatively small ear canals. I struggled for 10 minutes each to get them in.

They reduce volume but music still sounds great. be very careful when inserting
work really well. They reduce volume but music still sounds great. be very careful when inserting. I accidentally put one in too deep and it was really difficult to remove, I was almost afraid I might have to get it medically removed. Got it out with a pointy set of forceps that I managed to get one end in the ear plug hole and get enough grip to pull the plug out. Having a case is also a really nice bonus.

Eh
Not impressed for the cost. I like the foam Hearos better but maybe it's just my ear shape.
