Cheap connectors
The wires seem decent but the connectors to join cables are very cheap and are not too secure

Noise
Easy to install and set up. The HD is noisy because of a fan running all the time. I ordered the 5MP and the HD has a fan that is very noisy. You won't want the HD in a room that you will be in all the time.

Perfect answer to connect cameras at distance over 60 ft from base.
We had to run cables to two cameras over 60 ft from the base unit. The 100ft 2-pack of Night Owl cables answered this need perfectly in single unspliced runs.
