Stuffed burgers are Cool!
I have had this for a week or three now and have made a couple of batches of burgers with it. I will say that overall I like this tool and would only wish that I had one identical but made from stainless steel. The plastic is really durable and has no effect on the outcome, but I just feel stainless steel would be more attractive, durable, and easier to clean.CONSTRUCTION:This is well made. No sharp edges or snagging parts. Everything fits well and is designed with holes to be mounted to a board for secure work. Handles are easy to grip and do not cut into my hands. I only wish there was a way to retain all parts so they would not fall apart when stored. Currently the top of the press will come out of the base if allowed to float in a drawer. I just put mine into a zip-lock bag to resolve the issue, works great.USE:I have not made lots of burgers with this, but have made several batches, more large burgers than sliders. Both instances of the use of this item works well. There is instructions provided on how to use this device, as it can be a little confusing when seeing all the parts loose. It is easy to use though and you should not worry. The surfaces do not stick to the meat badly and the lower plate of both tools comes out to make the job as easy as possible. Just pack the meat inside (I use a spoon to put the meat into the device as it works best, trust me) and after a couple of times you will have the amount needed down to a science. Press the lid down into the mold a couple of times, rotating the handle about 1/3 to 1/2 the way around each time to make things more even. Then just push up from the bottom of the base to remove floor and burger. I just put the burger and floor of tool onto the grill or pan together and then pull up on the plastic floor plate which comes off the burger easily enough. A tip is to line the bottom of the burger press with wax paper, plastic wrap, oil, or even heavy seasoning to make the burgers release the most easy way. You can also stuff burgers with this tool. There is a detachable lid section for that and it works great. It locks on the lid with a slight twist and stays in place while making burgers without an issue.CLEAN UP:Like said before, I think that stainless steel would be better, but it would cost more as well. I got this on sale for just a couple of dollars. Overall it does clean up nicely. The plastic is not a porous one and all food comes off really easily. I would not just throw this into a sink full of dishes because it could get marred up and I do not know if once this plastic becomes scratched or loosed it finish if it will react the same way. I do not use a dishwasher so I can not say how well it holds up or cleans in one. It is easy to clean though and dry as well. It stores in a compact package as well. I do like to wash mine off with clean water before use each time and spray oil on it before use.

Easy to use for great burgers
This is easy to use and easy to clean. I haven't used the stuffer part yet, but I like that it works easier than previous burger presses I have had. It keeps the burgers all about the same size which makes cooking way smoother. Great quality product.

Updated 11/19/2019 - important for anyone with dexterity,..
Update 11/2019 - while after all this time we still like this we did find one issue. it has held up great, no color fading, no chips or cracks. the problem however lies in design. the lower cap part on the lid you press down on, it's not easy to remove especially if greasy at all. we found out the first time when it wasn't removed and placed into the dishwasher. it filled the inside of the cap with water that sloshed around when removed from the dishwasher. now when we use it we get that piece off but as said it can be tricky to remove. if you have any hand dexterity issues, arthritis, etc. for those you may want to reconsider. for most folks i think they'll like as we do even if it isn't the easiest to get apart to clean. if not for that one issue i'd have kept it at 5 stars.nice and sturdy even if not made from metal or ceramic. you get a couple different size inserts for either medium or large sized burgers. very easy to use and clean up after. very happy with!

Great stuffed burger press.
I'm thoroughly impressed. This created the best stuffed burgers I've ever had. My wife, who really only eats in order to live, said the burger tasted like it was from a nice burger restaurant. I used 80/20 ground beef mixed with 1 egg per 4lbs of meat. I seasoned with garlic salt and pepper. I'm planning to do a bunch of these and freeze the patties so we can just take them out, thaw them in the fridge and slap them on the grill. I don't plan to use the slider part, but that's a thing.I only have two complaints: 1- the diameter of the patty is a little too small. 2- after pressing the bottom half of the meat it's a little difficult to get the press to release the meat. It sort of creates a suction.

Works fine, but produces tiny patties.
This press works just about as simply and easily as I could ask for -- You place the ground meat in, add some extras like cheese or veggies, and press. The problem, though, is that the patties are absolutely tiny. Even before you cook patties made with this press, they seem a bit on the small side. When they're fully cooked, the size is just comical. I had to check to make sure that I didn't accidentally use the slider-sized press that came in the box, but I had indeed used the largest ring. I also tried with different amounts of fat content in the meat, but the patties were very small no matter what I did.We had a good laugh putting the little meat coins on regular-sized buns, but it was a bit disappointing. When I found this product page, I had already spent quite a while browsing through insanely expensive metal presses and cheap Chinese presses with awful reviews. I figured I couldn't go wrong buying any kitchen supplies from Cuisinart, but perhaps that only holds true for their high-end appliances.Anyway, to sum up, just be aware that a patty can't possibly still be the same size after it's cooked. It will depend on what kind of meat you use (how much fat content there is) and probably how you cook it. If you want your cooked patties to be larger than around 3-3.5 inches in diameter, you should probably consider other options.

Perfect hamburger patty maker
For a long time I was making homemade burgers by hand. Attempting to shape uniformly and getting it all to hold together well. It was a bit frustrating, but always a good meal. I finally decided to get one of these patty makers and I must say I am very happy I did. This product is great! The instructions are easy to understand, there are multiple sizes and it works great.I have not tried the other sizes, but I went with the large patty. I crammed it full of burger anticipating the thing we all dread - burger stuck to everything and a horrible quality patty.I am so happy to say that as I pushed up on the bottom piece to release the patty it popped right out, in perfect shape and held together. I couldn't ask for better, this is worth every penny.Clean up was easy. I ended up hand washing it and everything cleaned up without issue. It can be a little tricky getting under the handle, but perhaps next time I will try the dishwasher. If you are tired of struggling with making patties by hand, or you have a patty maker that just doesn't work well, then I strongly recommend giving this thing a try, it's great!

Works great!
So far I have used the Cuisinart CSBP-100 3-in-1 Stuffed Burger Press just for standard 1/4 pound burgers, but I will definitely be using the smaller one for sliders and breakfast sausage patties, and I expect I'll dabble with stuffed burgers at some point. For standard burgers, it worked very well, making nicely shaped patties that did not stick to the press. I made sixteen patties for a get together, and it was a great deal better and faster than pressing them by hand.I do now understand another reviewer's complaint that you still have to do some of it by hand, and that reviewer is right in that there is no "press" part for the slider shaper. It's just a smaller sized ring plus a base that you insert for the bottom. The instructions say to pack the meat into the slider shaper by hand. I haven't tried this, but I would think that would make for an inconsistent patty and I agree that because of this it's not truly 3-in-1...maybe 2.5-in-one. ;-) I would've liked an additional press to fit the slider shaper. However, I will solve this by using a flat-bottomed glass of an appropriate size. Doing it by hand wouldn't be a big deal, it's just that I would prefer a more "professional" looking patty. I think using a glass will work fine, but I also think this should be made more clear somehow in the description.I saw another review that complained that it was false advertising because it's not metal. I don't think the description says it is metal, but anyway, be aware that it is black textured plastic. The texture does a good job of keeping the meat from sticking to the press. If you're using a meat that would shrink a lot with cooking (such as 80/20 ground beef), don't get huge buns because these patties are probably about 4 to 4.5 inches diameter straight out of the press. But they are just fine for your kind of basic hamburger bun.All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and this will get a lot of use.

Recommended Hamburger Press
We bought this hamburger press to make different styles of burgers. The press is easy to use, easy to clean and makes symmetrical and even burgers whether stuffed or not. The burgers can be as big or small as you want and come out perfectly shaped and even; although it may take a pattie or two to get the hang of it.

Exactly what I was lookin for! Bottom separates so you don't need to worry about the burger sticking to the plastic. Easy, washable and up to you to regulate how much meat you want for chunky or thin ones!
