Great book telling the story of Matthew Henson (African American polar explorer) - excellently explains message about racial inequality and prejudice in the US in the early/mid 20th century

Great for children and a wonderful true story that highlights racism and the impacts it has. A beautiful story about a fascinating man

Great book for kids, really interesting and informative and written in a simplified style that they will love.

I expect that like me, children will be captivated by the author’s writing style and stay glued till the end.
