Magne Rod 00101 Magnetic Cafe Rod, Ivory, 17-Inch by 30-Inch

Really well made and sturdy! The magnets are super strong and don't slide down or around with their load. I tried a different brand of the same sort of product before - for about the same amount of money - and was not nearly as pleased with it. I am currently using two of these Skotz Manufacturing magnetic cafe rods to hold up some regular sheer curtain panels on my metal storm door, one at the top and one at the bottom. They're wonderfully accommodating. I didn't have to damage my door to add a curtain, nor did I have to buy a special type of curtain paneling. And the price is right. It's great!

I do love this magnetic cafe rod. It does appear quite strong and I am hoping that it will be strong enough that it won't move while pulling on a pull string to raise and lower a shade. I think that if it does then I'll apply a little silicone to the backs of the magnet. Time will tell as to how much of a strain that these magnets will tolerate. I bought it as a gift for my Mom and she absolutely loves it. She wants this instead of me drilling holes in her brand new steel door.

These really work!! I used them to hand sheers on my french doors (which are metal). The magnets are VERY STRONG. I had ordered WHITE but the color that arrived was ECRU (off-white/bisque)....but....I'm okay with that color too so I kept them........I used one rod at the top and one at the bottom of the door to hang/stretch the sheers and it looks fantastic. The magnetic rod stays secure even when I open/close the door....no problem. These are GREAT magnetic rods!

I have bought magnetic rods in the past and had trouble with them sliding down the door or falling down. The magnets on this seem to be a bit stronger and I've had no issues with it staying in place. Perfect for covering the window in our metal door.

We recently had our back entry door replaced with a steel door so I had to find magnetic curtain rods. It is so nice that I didn't have to put holes in my brand new door. The rods hold my pretty lace curtains in place and they look great on the door and the sidelight. Only one mishap; my Maltese pulled them down one day when she was so excited that we came home. But no damage, just slapped them back up on the door.

This rod is sturdy has a great hold and very attractive for use on a French Door. The one drawback they leave marks on your door where you will need to clean if you move them. They were easy to assemble, pull one end out and thread your drapery onto the rod and snap the other end in place. I would purchase these again they are a great value.

When I recived the magnet rods and I realized i don't have anything to get the rod to stay stick. No metal. I won't stick. I really don't want any holes on the wall. But any recommendations or feedback so I can order a better sturdy rods.

I bought this for my front door. It's great if you just have one at the top, but I have one at the top and bottom, and you can't pull the curtain tight without the rod falling. I have two different rods for my back door and I can really tighten them. I don't think they even sell those anymore. I kept these rods because they work good enough. I never have a problem with them coming loose when opening and shutting the door. If you're just using one rod, they're great.
