I gave this product 5 stars because, so far it has worked perfectly for me. The good: this case charges my phone and ease of use is great. The button is located on the back so I do occasionally accidentally turn it on but its very easy to turn off. The battery life seems to charge my phone from 20% to 100% and still has a little bit of charge left. The bad: I did not realize that I had to charge the case without the phone before I could actually use it properly. Easy fix though and no complaints once I figured that out. The case is also about as thick as an Otter Box Defender case. The ugly: the case will add about a pound to your phone’s weight. Getting the phone in the case was easy but getting it out is a little bit of a pain, but it’s manageable. One more minor detail about the case is that when the flash goes off while taking a picture, it creates some sort of reflective glare, because of how deep the camera is, inside of the case.

UPDATE: This stupid case is a piece of trash. I originally thought that I received a lemon but I returned the first case and it was replaced with a new one after it stopped charging after 1 month. Well, after having this new battery case for almost a month I shouldn't be surprised that it STOPPED charging again. Will be returning. This product is defective and they should def stop selling it. After 1 month: Not long after updating my review to 5 starts the phone case stopped charging the iphone even though it has a full charge on the external battery. (All 4 blue lights are lit up indicating it is fully charged.) When pressing the button to utilize the charge on the phone it no longer turns on to charge. This has been very frustrating to say the least going back on forth on the quality of this product. When it worked, it worked well, however, it seems to be hit and miss. After 1 month: This phone case had a bad start but it’s is actually fabulous, it does take a while to charge but once it’s full it will fully charge a phone that’s at 5%. Would recommend! EDIT: Only charged half way when we rcvd it. Used it on a phone and it gave it an additional 30% charge before being drained. This case is GARBAGE. Opened the Amazon box to find the product in an unsealed box opened exactly as shown in the image. Who the heck is packaging these at Amazon facilities thinking that this is ok? Thanks for the used merchandise. Don’t buy from this seller as they don’t care about quality.

My iPhone X's battery was failing to the point where I would have to plan to charge it by noon every day to avoid running low by the end of the day. I was looking for something reasonably priced that could bridge me over to a new phone. Things that I really like about this case: Capacity: Multiple full battery charges once battery runs to about 5% Durability: I dropped the phone from standing height twice on tiled floor with no issues. Although I would feel safer with a small lip above the screen so it wouldn't sit flush to add some protection. I have a glass screen protector installed so it seems to be holding up so far Ease of charging: ability to charge both case and phone while plugged in, I leave mine overnight and I am good to go for the whole day and potentially the next day if it was a lighter day of usage. Apple Carplay: I thought I would have to struggle through removing it from the case to use this function with my car but it works just fine when plugged into the apple car play port It adds a bit more bulk to your phone but honestly I would take that over a phone that I have to ration the battery and carry a charger all over the place. I am holding up for the next gen iPhone to come out in September and I am sure this case will get me there. Thank you!!

Used the case while in Montreal and loved that I was able to use my phone all day without having to recharge the case or the phone with an extra travel charger. The case charged my phone then stopped when sufficiently charged which allowed me to use the case again to charge later in the day. Cons... not easy to take off, does not protect around the screen so if it falls on screen the screen will crack, also heavy but I guess that is to be expected.

Originally I did not thing much if this case, but now that I have It it passed my expectations. For about $22 this case has a HUGE battery and it shows. I did Some research and my iPhone X has about 2700amp battery but the case has way more at 6500amp so this case basically make my phone have about 3.5X TIMES MORE BATTERY. My phone literally never dies now and the case will still use the iPhone charger so you don’t need a separate USB charger like other cases. This case might take longer than usual to fully charge but that cuz it has HUGE battery so it might take about 3X longer to charge phone case. About from that this $22 Case is worth it and I will Be recommending it too all my friends.

Doesn’t seem to hold more than 1 or 2 re charges also sometimes when it’s on phone and plugged in I wake up in morning and phone is dead. Very heavy, I prefer smoothie I had for my iPhone 6 but the Mophie case for iPhone XS uses a special lightning USB charger so I selected this one that takes Apple charger plug.

I read the 1 star reviews about how this product stops working after a few weeks prior to purchasing this case & despite my better judgment, I went ahead with it anyway. I figured it was user error, but no. It literally just stops working. Don’t get me wrong, it was great for the first week, but now it’s just done working. The case itself still charges and all of the lights work, but instead of sending a charge to the phone when I click it on, the charge meter flashes on the back (showing that the case is fully charged) & that’s it. Normally if you plug it in while your phone is in it, both the case & phone will charge. My phone no longer receives charge from either of these methods. I’m guessing something fried on the output, but if you read other poor reviews, it seems like a pretty common defect. Don’t buy this product. It’s very poorly manufactured.

There are five cons about this device, three are major and relative to what you can get out there. I replaced a similar product after getting water on it: * you can't plug a headphone into the lightning charger input for this and get sound on an iPhone that normally outputs sound via lightning charger input (iPhone XS) * the way you slide the phone it just feels like over time it will either damage the connectivity of the iPhone or it will damage the case (so you buy a new one) * it covers up the microphone so it is hard for people to hear you * the battery takes an extraordinary amount of time to charge, i don't yet know if this is due to the exterior battery receiving charge before the phone or what.. we're talking 1% maybe four or five minutes which means your phone with this device would literally take hours to charge (wtf) * this case itself is bulkier than my last battery pack charger I'm really hoping that by the time I charge this it will deliver me hours worth of extra charge. If it's not I might return and 1-star this.
