The product was actually better than I expected considering the price

This Dell is a good home laptop. I know it's not made with the latest tech, but for the money I think it is a good value. I like that it was not loaded down with junk software that I would need to remove. I immediately upgraded it to Windows 10 (after turning it on, it pretty much wanted to do that by itself). Anyway, Win 10 is OK, for sure better than Windows 8, but I am not a huge fan of 10 either (it holds your hands too much). I only added a few programs that we use, and it has been working fine. It is a little light on RAM, and I would appreciate a "disk access" Led, but this Dell works fine. It is a big improvement over our old Lenovo, that just died one day without warning - Note - do regular backups frequently!!V.W.

Really love the Dell

This is not a new laptop as claimed by the seller. When I received this laptop, I was not able to charge the laptop, the battery was not recognized by the laptop, so I called Dell customer care and understood that this is a 2 year and 6 months old laptop. Returned it the same day.

Its not so good but ok we can use it

I bought this for a gift. I have a Sony laptop with an I7 processor and more ram so there's no comparison, but this I3 is quite a bit slower than what I'm used to. But the person I bought this for just needs a PC to surf the internet, email and maybe some other tasks so this will be fine. But if you require something more powerful, you'll be disappointed. It has a built in DVD writer which is a plus, and hdmi, usb ports, Ethernet port, etc. The screen resolution could be better, but at the price point, you pretty much get what you pay for. For your every day casual user, this will probably serve your needs just fine. Oh, and I was able to upgrade it to Windows 10 with not much ado.
