Nova Nutritions Vitamin C 1000 mg 240 Tablets (Extended Release) Made with Rose HIPS, Rutin, Acerola Powder, Bioflavonoids

These tablets are a bit on the bigger size but the usual for this dose. They may be a bit more difficult for some to swallow but they do have a light glaze so I have no issue. I take one each morning after breakfast and like that they have the Rosehips added in. They are extended release so I don't feel that the nutrients will be wasted and overall be more effective. I have taken the 1000 mg dose for years and chalk it up to keeping me well year round. I believe this brand to be a great value as well!

I've been taking vitamin C and other vitamins for years. I'm rarely sick, even before the pandemic. Most foods today do not contain the nutrient levels that they did years ago--even organic foods. The price per pill is also quite reasonable. Definitely recommend.I try to write a review for nearly everything I buy on Amazon. Vitamin C is a crucial anti-oxidant for the body. A water soluable vitamin, the body has a "use it or lose it" mechanism, which means mega dosing standard vitamin C is pointless as most passes straight out of the body. Short of expensive IV vitamin C therefore, extended release vitamin C is a far superior absorption option. I've been taking two of these a day approx 12hrs apart and I understand this takes 4-6hrs to fully break down, giving your body a much wider window with continuous availability of vitamin C.I am a big fan of this product, and am yet to find an equivalent or that is so well priced. Highly recommended.

The pill is much larger than I expected. Many times I have to try swallowing it more than 2 times before it goes down. It's such better than the I previously took that were not coated.

Went from a more expensive, supermarket brand to this upon a recommendation of a friend. The amount of tablets vs the brand I used to buy beats it by 90, and also the price is $5.00 cheaper. I have been on a vitamin C and Vitamin D kick ever since I had a real bad cold in November, and since I started this regimen, I have been in perfect health. This product is worth the price and definitely a quality purchase.
