ASICS Men's JB Elite V2.0 Wrestling Shoe

We ordered on a Friday afternoon and received our order Monday morning! We chose expedited shipping and it came sooner than predicted. The shoe was everything we expected and we are happy with our purchase. This is our second pair of Asics wrestling shoes so we knew that the shoe does run small. My child typically wears a size 2 but we ordered a 4 (his current wrestling shoe is a 3.5) and it fits perfect! The only issue I had was I was given the wrong tracking number so I was a little freaked when it was delivered to another state but I contacted the shipper and they had gotten back to me an hour later with the correct information. Overall good experience.

My little one has used these for over a month and are holding up well. The fit was exactly as listed. We really like the colors on this shoe. Shipping was quick.

My high school junior's wrestling shoes "died" mid-season and we didn't have the time to run around trying to find a new pair so I took a chance on these because of the reviews here and elsewhere, and the price was great. He wore them for the 1st time today and came home singing their praises for 1) exceptionally comfortable 2) so light he said he could barely feel them on his feet and 3) excellent grip, which was something that was getting mixed reviews from what I'd read. It's rare that I get such high praise and a sincere "thanks mom!" but these wrestling shoes were a big hit! I hope they last thru the rest of this season and at least part way thru next year. Also, we found the size accurate for what he normally wears in sneakers/sports shoes.

My son was previously wearing the ASICS Matflex in a size K12 (Fit perfect for his wider foot). He was outgrowing them naturally as he got older so I purchased him these in a size up, K13. I sized them up sole to sole with his old Matflex and you could tell the immediate difference in width. The JBs were a lot more narrow and not much longer in length. I had my son try them on and he complained they were hurting his feet, I felt for his toe and it was right at the edge with not very much room to grow. So the JBs run more narrow and don't offer much difference in length between one size. Luckily, there is free returns for this product so I will return these and order a few sizes up to either a size 1 or 1.5 in the same shoe and hope as the size goes up, so will the width and if not then I will have to go back to the Matflex. I understand shoe sizes vary in different brands but they were both ASICS. I will try to update or write another review when the new size gets sent to me. Also when I used the size chart offered by Amazon for that shoe it was different then what the shoe tag said in the shoe. For example, it said a K13 was a Europe size 31.5 but in the shoe the Europe size was actually a 29.5. Oh well, this is the issue with buying shoes online and not being able to try them on in person.

We bought these wrestling shoes for my 13 year old son. He was very pleased with them when they arrived. They looked a lot better than he had expected. He has large feet and there weren't any local stores that carried his size, these fit him well. He complained of bunching at the bottom, but once we tightened the laces for him properly, that issue went away. We are very pleased with our purchase!

Ordered these for my 7 year old wrestler. I ordered 1/2sz larger than last years wrestling shoes, as his toes were at end of the shoe. These shoes were a little hard to get on at first, until they were worn a couple of times and broken-in. (had to loosen shoes strings and help him the first 2 times) There was some concern in another review that the shoes may be narrow however, my little guy has a fairly wide foot and once the shoes were worn just a couple of times, I found no reason to believe they were too narrow. Shipped/arrived quickly, great fit and price. Very happy with this purchase.

You can't really go wrong with Asics wrestling shoes. They fit a bit small, but that's to be expected with wrestling shoes so really they fit as expected. My son loves these shoes. They are very comfortable and grippy. He'll likely wear JB's until he's big enough to fit Aggressors like his brother.

They arrived quickly, but were too small. I could feel the different components/materials that make the shoe around my heel & ankle area, so I'm not sure how well they would hold up. The soles looked decent with a moderate amount of traction, but won't try a larger size.
