Works well!
I'm happy with the quality of this pad. The pad is being used under a rug, on a wooden floor on our second story. It grips well and has softened the floor squeaks a bit. It was ver easy to install with our 9x12" rug. So far, just a week or so into using, I'm good with this purchase.

Just right!
I have a heavy oriental rug and didn't want a pad that slid or a pad that was too high since the rug was pretty high on its own. This is perfect. There is a good grip on the floor side and felty upper side has enough traction to hold the rug in place.

This rug pad does exactly what I expected. It fits nicely under a new area rug we purchased and protects the floor underneath while providing cushioning to the feet. It’s thinner than some others but I’m fine with that. It cuts easily if you need to trim it anywhere.

Smells like chemicals- made us feel sick
This rug pad smells so bad! It has a chemical or fuel smell. We all got bad headaches. We have put it outside for a week to air it out and it still smells. We tried putting baking soda to help remove the toxic smell but nothing has worked. We had to just get rid of it.

Measure before putting your rug down
I am happy with the quality and feel of these rug pad, but they don’t measure what they say. One was ok, but the other was 4 inches too wide. I didn’t discover this until after the rug was down. Now I don’t know what to use to cut off the excess and am left with 4 inches of pad sticking out. The company told me that the measurements were approximate. I wished I had known this. I still have four inches of pad sticking out. I have three of the and two were fine.
