Smells wonderful and helped me out when i was getting a cold and its good for stomach issues. I brew these in the morning by putting them in disposable teabags or a steeper. This bag will sure last a long while until my tulsi plants get bigger

Very light and soothing.

This organic Holy Basil/Tulsi Leaf smells and tastes pretty good. It's potent and interesting in scent and taste. The leaves are super dark brown and they feel really dry, but seem fine. I've been taking spoonfuls of tulsi powder and chasing it with water, but I wanted it in the herb form as well. It's a really pleasant and a wonderful herb to own.Holy Basil is a fantastic calming adaptogen that comes from India. It has powerful calming, relaxing, uplifting and energizing properties. It's also well known for its ability to relieve anxiety, depression, and grief, and balance cortisol and blood sugar levels. Tulsi is a very protective herb, and it improves immune health to fend off colds and infections, strengthens digestion, decreases inflammation to relieve chronic pain, and can even protect against radiation to some degree.Blend this holy basil leaf with green tea to amplify the energy and anti-inflammatory effects. It has a lot of potential for using in nourishing, calming tea blends. Apparently this herb is the easiest adaptogen to grow and harvest in abundance. The other more calming adaptogenic herbs are shisandra berry, ashwagandha, and gotu kola.I love all adaptogens because they allow me to deal with my chronic pain and difficult symptoms with a more positive outlook. The powder Tulsi acts instantly as soon as you swallow it, so this herb may not be as immediately powerful, but used regularly over time, it can do wonders for your ability to deal with stress, pain, and other health issues and deficiencies.Update: I forgot to add.. this bag contains TONS of mini branches.. the sticks, twigs, and stems are sometimes thick and very long, and they occupy about half the bag. It's not fully cut and sifted, because large pieces are attached together. I've added a picture to show the twigs I pulled out from just one herbal tea blend.

This is a nice fresh leafy tea; it isn't powdery. Has a soothing, fresh taste from hot to cold
