So far no metal taste. Works well.
I like to wait as long as possible to give an honest review. It started to not pour water, but that was because I was used to it working so well that I forgot it needs to charge 😂. So yea, it definitely works and charged with no issue. It doesn’t give off a metal taste like the ones I’ve tasted from other people. HOWEVER, it hasn’t been a year yet so idk if it will change over time. But for now, it works well and I’m satisfied.

Decent for the water table hack!
We saw the TikTok hack for the water table. We bought this one to try, and it does the trick sorta. It does not do a continuous flow; it stays on for about ten minutes if you press and hold the button. That’s a bit disappointing as we have to keep turning it back on for our toddler. It was simple to set up. All we had to do was drill the hole bigger in the table to stick the tub through. I do love that it's a rechargeable battery, so we don't have to worry about buying batteries for it. We could use it right away. Mostly happy with this purchase, and it'll save on our water bill!

Simple, space-saving, and way easier than lifting heavy water jugs
We used to constantly buy cases of bottled water, and it just didn’t make sense with how much plastic we were going through. We looked into getting a larger water dispenser, but they take up too much space and require lifting and flipping heavy bottles. We wanted something simpler that we could use with a gallon or 5-gallon jug on the counter, and this ended up being exactly what we needed. Setup was easy. Just make sure to wash the hose before first use, then attach it and place it on top, and it’s ready to go. The water flow is steady and not too slow, and you can see that in the video. We’ve been using it for about a year now, and it still works great. It makes getting water so much easier, and we don’t have to deal with lifting or flipping heavy bottles anymore. Even my niece who’s seven can use it without any issues. The battery lasts a long time too. We can go a couple of weeks without needing to charge it. My mom liked ours so much that she ended up getting one too. Overall, this has been a simple, practical solution that saves space, cuts down on plastic, and just makes things easier.

WORKED GREAT FOR 2.5 YEARS THEN DIED
I bought two of these Feb 2024. They've been great water dispensers. I have a satellite dog bowl station I fill a 5 gallon tub with and it makes it easy keeping the dog bowl full. The other I use on my table with another 5 gallon jug to fill coffee machine etc. I use both every day and everything has been pretty great. I'm giving 4 stars though, because I just had one randomly die and there doesn't seem to be a way to resuscitate it. I guess I just figured they'd last more than 2.5 years. I estimate they've probably had about 1200 cycles during that time. One is still going strong, but the other is done for.

Poor design choices make this prone to failure
This is the 2nd unit I've had (1st one died at right before it's 1 yr mark). So this one lasted a fair bit longer. Had a few weird "hiccups" in the past few years (each time making me think, there is goes, it's probably dead) but it surprising would start working again. However, this time, it "hiccupped" for the last time. It refused to turn off. I thought there was a circuit timer that would actually shut off the pump after a certain amount of continuous operation but it just wouldn't stop. So it ran and ran until the battery eventually gave out. Since the unit wouldn't charge any longer I had to open it up to investigate. The battery is sitting dangerously low at ~1.8V (normal range would be between 3V and 4.2V). Glad to see that the charging IC didn't fail as well and allow the circuit to attempt charging the battery. Further investigation revealed that the tactile switch is the source of the failure. Terminals are continuously shorted. I attempted to clean it with isopropyl alcohol to no avail. So I'll have to desolder the switch and try a new battery. Unfortunately, with the way this is designed, if the switch fails in this manner it will also kill the battery since there is nothing to stop it from continuously running it into the ground. Docking points for poor hardware choice and circuit design aspects that allows one failure to then cause more failures. These tactile switches are notoriously bad for applications like this since moisture easy corrodes the device. Adding points back considering that this is at least put together in a way that someone familiar with electronics can service it.

Great little gadget
We dont have a water dispenser or the room for all that and my mom cant pick up the jugs. Its easy to just plug this thing in and press a button. Works for the whole jug before we have to recharge it. We use it for glasses and to fill small gallons. Sometimes we have to charge it in-between the 5 gallons. It doesnt fit snug on there it kinda just sits but it doesnt fall off at all and doesnt let dust or anything else get in. It is kinda loud but thats going to be expected with any motorized pump. Don't forget to wash the tubing between uses we find that ours gets a film on it after prolonged time in the water. Again normal for a humid environment.

Not bad for price
Worked well while it lasted..it worked good for about 2 years, we only use 5 gallon jugs for drinking water. There was no weird taste or anything, but the battery dies quickly now. An all night charge lasts for about a day or so.

I got this to use for a self sufficient kitchen for my son and I love it, so easy to use and 1 charge lasts for ages.

Decent pump within a moderate price range
Overall product built is alright but 2 things could have been better - 1. A little more flow 2. a better silicone pipe which would not float

Low Quality product and malfunctioned
This product is so far one of the lowest quality item i received. It stopped pumping water on 2nd time use. The pipe provided was not the proper lenght to go all the way downt to 5 Gallon water bottle as it says it useable for 5 Gallon bottle. The nosal also doesn't fit well and motor was quite noisey. not a great experience.
