Does the job it's supposed to do.
pretty standard oil pressure switch. I put it on my car to control the electric fuel pump so it only pumps when there's oil pressure. Works great

Used with electric fuel pump in my Jeep CJ7. Shuts off fuel pump if engine stalls rather than keep pumping fuel.

It’s a fine product, I would’ve given it five stars if it had had screw on terminals instead of push on. Other than that works perfectly. If you don’t mind that aspect then buy this product

Working well for fuel pump cut off sensor
Bought to be the cut off switch for fuel pump if car in accident. Working as it should

Arrived DOA. Fail. Twice
Arrived defective. Terminals were loose and moving in and out of the plastic housing. After testing with DMM, the terminals were loose causing intermittent electrical contact. Update: Ordered an exact replacement for the first defective unit. The replacement was also defective. Fail. Refund. Wasted time. The first unit had a loose "S" terminal which usually is hooked up to starter solenoid so fuel pump will operate prior to building oil pressure. So the contact would be intermittant to start the fuel pump when starting the engine. This second defective unit had a loose "I" terminal. So it was making contact and sending power to the pump without oil pressure. Not good, defeating the purpose of this switch. I used to have great confidence in Standard Motor Products. Not anymore. Will only be buying reputable products in the future. Ordered a Jegs 11200 Oil Pressure Safety Switch 1/8" NPT instead.

I used this switch to activate my fuel pump on an older car with carburetor. It works well and the cranking circuit is a nice feature.
