I have been making homemade mead and wanted to put some in beer bottles to give to people instead of giving them wine bottle, incase they didnt like it. I have capped over 50 bottles with no issues and seals everytime. Its great for the amateur brewer and would recommend for anyone

This is a great tool to steal bottle caps and it’s very easy to use. The handle has a nice plastic grip to it, and seem to be sturdy of hard plastic. Everything else is constructed of metal which will make the tool last for many years. Using all you have to do is apply firmly in a downward motion Until it stop. The bottle cap itself has a rubber seal on the inside to prevent any kind of leaks. And another great feature is the magnetic bottle cap holder, which makes it a lot easier to seal the bottle. This is a great tool to have, and I would highly recommend it to anyone that is brewing their own beverage.

Bottling some homemade wine into beer bottles and this did the trick. Very easy to use and overall satisfied for the price.

Initially I was a bit skeptical of the durability of this product. But dozens of capped bottles later, this bottle capper continues to work as expected.

This thing is great for putting caps on bottles. If you try and do it with just your hands, it really hurts. This way, there's no blood, and no frustration. It even comes with a heap of caps so you can just stick one on every bottle you see, pretty cool if you ask me. Bring it to your local bar, and watch your peers have to re-open their bottles every time they come back from the bathroom. Great fun. If I had to think of a negative, I'd say watch out because it's kind of addictive. Before you know it 144 caps becomes 139, and then 107, then 42 and then you're pretty much dry so be careful. I'm a prop master and needed this to close up some beer bottles that got used for a 12 show run. Super fast and easy TONS of caps. Happy to have this tool in my arsenal now.

No breaks after doing a 48 bottles, you don't need to really use a lot of force. If I do encounter a break I'd be more willing to blame a weakened bottle or user error. There's also a handy cap holding magnet so you don't have to worry about alignment. These things crimp the caps on well enough to really hold in the pressure (as tested by unregulated in-bottle secondary fermentation.)
