Fjällräven Lightweight Kanken Outdoor Hiking Backpack

Although quite expensive, these bags are my favourite brand of bag. This is my 3rd fjallraven kanken backpack, but it’s the 1st mini one I have purchased. When I bought it, I was slightly scared as it was expensive and I didn’t have a clue about sizing but it is perfect! I bought this bag to take on holiday with me to put my bits and bobs in during the day, phone, purse, sunglasses and anything else needed. This was the perfect bag for that sort of thing. The sizing is perfect, more than enough room to carry your small personal items plus a lot more, I was able to fit in my camera as well as bottles of water. But you barely even realise the bag is on you it’s so lovely and compact and so lightweight. The other size of bag, the regular one covers my whole back, so you are aware it is on you but this one is on you but not in the way! As with all kanken backpacks, it could stand up to any weather and will be sure to last years! Material is excellent, and the straps are comfy too. The straps sort of hug your shoulders, and for me, never have to be fixed during the day, once my bag is on, it’s on. Unlike padded straps that slip down your arm and need to be pulled up every 2 seconds. The cost is high for this bag, but if you are needing something compact, comfortable and also super cool, then this is the bag for you!

I have been looking for a good bag for uni and work that can hold my laptop, bottle, umbrella, lunch etc. and this was perfect. Was almost going to buy it off the fjallraven website for much more of the price but thought I’d check Amazon and was pleasantly surprised to see the exact one I wanted in the colour ox red. I was a bit worried about it being a fake but when receiving it, can definitely confirm it’s 100% the real branded bag. It’s such a gorgeous colour, lightweight, feels waterproof, and fits all my things! I’m unsure how it is yet carrying it around as I haven’t done so yet but so far definitely recommend! The company also delivered it to me next day on a Saturday when Amazon says it takes 5-6 working days which is a huge bonus!

The bag is so easy to use, I have put pins on it and unlike my old backpack, it didn't get ripped when I put the pins on it. The quality of the bag is amazing, I highly recommend it for anyone who goes to school. As a sixth former, the size of the bag is great, I can easily fit 2 textbooks and 3 exercise books plus my pencil case. Highly recommend purchasing the bag.

I use this product for daily commutes to work, hikes and to carry my personal laptop around when needed. Very comfortable on your back, still in great quality with no wear and tear. Recommend for everyday use and commuting. Would buy again but it seems like this night last forever 🤣

I absolutely love this rucksack it is amazing for work and can hold a lot of weight. I use this daily to carry a laptop, A4 pads of paper, usual everyday stuff plus all my chargers etc. Love it so much I bought a small over the shoulder version for going out with

Great bag, but this colour scuffs what to easy and catches all the dust. Kept it but also bought a different colour

Absolutely love this bag and especially the colour. It is made from very sturdy material so will last well, while still being extremely lightweight. The shoulder straps and back are padded so it is comfortable to carry, even when filled up with loads of things. Easily fits my 13" macbook plus charging cables, up to 5 notebooks and my water bottle in it. Unfortunately, I cannot use the side pockets for my water bottle, as they are tiny and do not even fit 0.5 liter bottles into them. Additionally, this bad is quite expensive for what it is. You definitely pay for the brand name and its current popularity and you could definitely find bags similar in quality (and even looks) for a lot cheaper.

This backpack is simply amazing. I use it everyday to go into uni, put my laptop in the apposite pocket and all the rest in the bigger pocket. It's slightly smaller compared to the regular Fjallraven Kanken, but it is big enough to accommodate my lunch/ notebook/ pencil case and what not. the two handles on top are very handy when it comes to use the underground or public transport in general, and are in fact the main reason why I got this backpack. Would def recommend!

I bought these hoping to eliminate some of the chafing I have whenever I wear sleeveless tops or dresses. Unfortunately these pads are short and only cover the top of my shoulders. I wear a size xs-s in shirts so I don't think it's because I have large shoulders. They do make carrying a heavier bag less uncomfortable on my shoulders but my armpit area will still be irritated. They are sturdy and look good on the bag but I probably would not have bought them had I realized they wouldn't reach that far as my primary reason for buying these pads was to cover the strap around the armpit area.

This pack is much smaller than a typical school backpack and wouldn't be great for holding binders, lunch, water etc for a child. I use mine as a purse, and it holds my wallet and personal items very well, and I can throw my laptop in when I'm headed to work. The pockets on the sides are silly - super narrow and would never hold any water bottle. You can slip your cell phone in, but it will fall to the bottom and then it's hard to get back out.

I absolutely adore this backpack!!! I was very hesitant at first and believe me, I read so many reviews before buying this. Deciding to buy the 13", I was a little worried that the bag would be too small to fit all my things. I am a grad student and usually have my laptop (13" mac), and two notebooks, my water bottle, wallet, keys, and phone, that fit perfectly in the backpack. Also: I'm short, so it doesn't look small on me and is the perfect size. People have asked how all my things have fit into it, but surprisingly a lot does. I've gotten a lot of compliments of its picturesque style, so of course that's a plus! Anyways, besides that, the most important thing..it's really comfortable and practical! Love that it has a water bottle holder, an outside zipper pocket for your phone, keys, wallet, etc, comfortable straps + it's waterproof. Coming from a person who has back problems, I really appreciate that it still feels pretty light even when carrying my school stuff in there. Sometimes I get scared that it'll break just because it looks fragile, but so far so good! I highly recommend this, especially if you're a backpack lover like me!
