Review: Excellent - 5 bon film en 4k que demander de mieux Review: GREAT VALUE 4K ACTION BOX-SET - The 4k upgrade for all 5 movies is pretty impressive overall - WINTERS WAR - (Bit Dark perhaps for younger viewers) Great Special-effects - This the story as it began....and beyond. When her young baby daughter has seemingly been killed by her lover 'Freya' (Emily Blunt) uses her long-since forgotten 'Ice-Powers' to vent her grief killing him. After which she abandons her sister 'Queen Ravenna's' (Charlize Theron) kingdom to create one of her own in the north. The kingdom she builds is in effect an ice-bound world, she commands that there will be no love in her domain.. she sets out to create an elite army with children trained-up to become her all-conquering soldiers...among those 'Eric' (Chris Hemsworth) and 'Sara' (Jessica Chastine)....the two after years of fighting for 'Queen Freya' break the golden rule by falling in love and marrying. The Queen confronts the two and creates an ice-wall to separate them, 'Eric' is cast out of the kingdom believing 'Sara' to have been killed.... Many years have passed, seven years after the evil sorceress 'Ravenna' had been killed, 'Queen Snow White' has fallen ill after hearing 'Ravenna's' magic-mirror calling her. 'Snow White' orders that the mirror be taken to a safe place where it can do no more harm, however en-rout the mirror goes missing. 'Eric' who these days ekes out an existence living of the fruits of the forest is asked as a fabled Huntsman to track down the mirror and prevent it falling into the wrong hands. 'Eric' is joined by two dwarfs on his mission, when attacked by Huntsman in the service of 'Queen Freya' they are saved by 'Sara' who 'Eric' had thought dead all these long years, but where do her loyalties really lie ?? The Mirror now in 'Freya's' hands.....by using the words 'Mirror Mirror on The Wall who is the Fairest of Them All' she draws out, unexpectedly 'Ravenna' who's spirit had been trapped in the mirror these last seven years.... 'Ravenna' demands control of her sisters army so she can march upon 'Snow White's' forces and reclaim the Kingdom. Can 'Eric' and his small band prevent 'Ravenna' from imposing her evil intent upon the Kingdoms in the South ?? The Story will i'm certain resurface....it is not the end ? Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron revisit their roles from 'Snow White and the Huntsman' to again fight the battle of Good versus Evil The fairy tale continues, though Snow White is nowhere to be seen, she remains a key-figure in the plot... With much light humour and some enjoyable fight-sequences along with the visual powers of Freya and Ravenna the film is an enjoyable spectacle and is in my opinion certainly the equal in terms of entertainment-value to 'Snow White and the Huntsman' The presentation has both the 'theatrical and extended version on-board A word of caution for younger viewers there is some coarse language along the way. Rating 8.5/10 WARCRAFT - Those that have played the video-game series down the years would of course been very familiar with the format the film would take, i myself knew little of the game but was drawn to the film by the visual impact of the trailers i'd seen. I'm sure 'Warcraft' fans have waited anxiously for the film that was first considered some ten years ago..... The film a mixture of live-action and of course computer-generated-imagery...a film of explosive action and sorcery, coupled with stunning visual excellence. Though i suspect fans of the game will indeed enjoy the film, i feel sure like myself, those who don't will also embrace the film and look forward ''hopefully'' to it's sequels. The film tells of the 'Orc's' need to find a new home as Draenor, their home World is being torn apart by a mysterious magical force. The 'Orc's' unite behind 'Gui'dan' a powerful 'Orc-Warlord' who creates a portal to the World of 'Azeroth' which they almost immediately set about attacking, capturing many with the intent to sacrifice to bring more of their own through the portal. The threat of the 'Orc' invasion soon comes to the attention of the 'Stormwind Kingdom' ..a team led by commander of military 'Anduin'(Travis Fimmel' who many i'm sure know from the superb 'Vikings' series) are sent out to investigate traces of fel-magic but are ambushed, 'Medivh' (Ben Foster) uses his magic to slay the fel-corrupted orc's, the remaining orc's to flee, though half-orc slave 'Garona' is captured....she will prove to be a useful ally. Not all the 'Orc's' want to follow 'Gui 'dan's' lust for battle, the leader of the 'Frostwolf-Clan' realises that if his people are to settle peacefully in this land and alliance with the humans will be needed, a approach that will be seen as treachery by the orc-warlord. When 'King Llane' (Dominic Cooper) of Stormwind learns of captured humans being sacrificed by the orc-warlord he leads an army in an assault on the orc-camp, whilst back in Stormwind 'Anduin' and 'Khadgar' (Ben Schnetzer) battle with 'Medivh' who has seemingly become possessed by forces beyond his control and has re-opened the portal allowing more war-like orc's into Draenor. The battle against the orcs will leave questions of loyalty unanswered.....ad the closing sequence will leave the story open for it's 'hopeful' continuation on the big-screen. Rating 8/10 LUCY - Another movie offering superb special-effects Another movie that seems to have attracted contrasting reviews from film critics and reviewers alike.... I have to admit i love special-effects lavished Sci-fi movies, and look to be entertained, this one fits the bill, for me. The film kicks off with 'Lucy' being coerced into delivering a briefcase to a Chinese Drug-Lord, it soon becomes obvious from the outset she is obviously out of her depth, and in fear for her life. She is effectively been made their prisoner, they implant a package in her mid-drift, it's intended that she be used as a mule for them, whilst still in captivity and after the implant, one of her guards beats her, kicking her in the stomach, releasing some of the synthetic drug into her body. The effects make her something less than the frightened woman of earlier, she engineers an escape from her captors, on the outside her first thoughts are to have the implant removed forcing a surgeon to perform the procedure. The bag removed, much of the remainder of the contents now in her system, her very being is hugely enhanced, the substance is gradually unlocking up to 100% of her brain-capacity........what has she become ?? She turns to writer and college lecturer 'Professor Norman' (Morgan Freeman) for help, he's written on the subject of 'Human and Animal's use of brain capacity.........can he help 'Lucy' or will her abilities be beyond his comprehension. Her new-found powers and there use has made her wanted by the 'Law' and hunted by the Chinese Drug-Lord.....and perhaps little time to live. An enjoyable and often exciting watch, that could 'blow your mind' - 'Scarlett Johansson' lights up the screen as 'Lucy' Rating 8.8/10 EVEREST - n the Spring is usually climbing season in the Himalayas offering the safest window for climbing the Worlds highest peak - Everest......one in four climbers have died since first conquered in 1953 by Edmund Hillary and his team. The story based on real events that took place in the Spring of 1996. Two rival teams led by 'Rob Hall' (Jason Clarke) and 'Scott Fischer' ( Jake Gyllenhaal) are set to climb t the same time a proposal to join the two teams together to make the accent rather than turn the rivalry into a race. Though base-camp warn of an imminent storm, the weather looked good for the teams to make their final accent to the summit, by 2.0 p.m they must commence their decent. 'Rob Hall' against what he knew to be right he helps the flagging 'Doug Hansen' (John Hawkes) a postal worker who'd been climbing for the past ten years reach the summit but time would now be against them. The threatened storm moves in, thirteen members of the two teams are now caught on the mountain-side in a ferosious blizzard they will not all make it back to base camp. The film boasts an all-star cast. A superb portrayal of the dangers involved in climbing the Worlds highest peak....with a vivid and realistically portrayed account of the incidents and trials the teams encountered as they tried to descend after successfully reaching the summit. The film does indeed become an edge of your seat viewing as the situation becomes ever more desperate in the fight for survival. Rating - 9/10 BATTLESHIP The story follows the fortunes of two brothers, both serving in the U.S Navy, one, Stone Hooper (Alexander Skarsgård ) already a ship commander (career-minded) and his younger brother who he persuades to enlist Alex (Taylor Kitsch) a junior officer who was known to be somewhat wayward/undisciplined, both serving on different warships in the fleet commanded by Admiral Terrance Shane,(Liam Neeson) Alex falls for the commander's daughter Sam (Brooklyn Decker) surely a match the Admiral would not approve of. At a communication/observatory centre built by NASA in Hawaii a possible habitable planet is discovered, the centre sends communitive messages to the planet, well, the plant unexpectantly responds by sending its own to investigate the source of the messages, trouble is, they are not friendly. Both brothers ships that they serve upon investigate the strange structures that appear inn the seas by Hawaii, seeing the ships as a threat the Aliens attack. The battle is on, the Aliens have superior weaponry, and soon sink .USS Sampson commanded by Stone, who loses his life, Alex who had ben assigned with a small crew to investigate the mysterious struc/ture/ returns to his ship USS John Paul Jones to find all senior officers had perished on-board leaving him a junior officer in charge. A time for heroes that would end up involving a group of veterans on the decommissioned war-ship kept as a visitor attraction USS Missouri . Will Alex and his crew coupled with the veterans save the dxa? Will the Admiral accept Alex as a prospective son-in-law? A very watchable Sci-Fi action-movie. RATING 8.3/10

Excellent Collection of movies on 4K UHD for £39
Excellent Collection of movies on 4K UHD for £39.99 which i purchased around black friday week and to which works out about £8 for each film as the separate releases retail around £22.99-£24.99 so that's a massive saving, Picture quality is very sharp but the biggest thing is HDR which dramatically changes the picture quality where it makes everything look fantastic, Lucy in 4K is defiantly a eye popper with fantastic colors and is really vivid a huge upgrade from the 1080p Bluray (speaking of which each movie includes a bluray copy which is another bonus of this set), the one that surprised me the most was The Huntsman Winter War 2016 which beside the picture quality is actually an enjoyable movie, Everest and Battleship are great with Battleship being the oldest movie here released back in 2012, Warcraft The Beginning 2016 was a bit of a disappointment for me as not really a fan of the video games and some bits seemed to drag but i guess its worth watching once p.s lookout for the opening part in HDR as it really pops out from the screen. Picture Quality - 10 Audio - 10 Extras - 10 (inclusions of Bluray copies and special features) Defiantly worth buying espically as the price will increase any time from now!!

Digital codes do not work - they expired in 2018
This is advertised as 4k UHD + Blu-Ray + Digital. Unfortunately when you try to reclaim the digital codes (one of the main selling points for me) you will find 2 things: 1. Universal no longer support 'Ultravoilet', so you then have to faff about to find out how to redeem codes...(eventually you find a hidden page that then links you to Google Play) then.. 2. The codes for the movies here have all expired in 2018.You have to go to look at the NBCUcodes website;- - Huntsman, Warcraft and Lucy - expired 31st Dec '18 - Everest - expired 1st May '17 - Battleship - Expired 31st March '18 If you don't care about the digital and are fine with being sold '3 products' and only receiving 2, then the 4k films are good. It just isn't the bargain it appears (if you specifically wanted the digital). This just isn't made clear on the listing or product.
