I was going to give these lights a 4 but to be honest they get the job done and I might be a little picky. They were delivered on time, no issues with them, and they are very bright. I have one maybe a little over 1m (3.3ft) away from me. I have a Canon EOS M6 Mark II with the 15-45mm kit lens on it. I am able to have all the lights off in my basement and turn this light on and have a nice and bright image/recording for my streams. I have my ISO at 640 but I could go as low as 400 and have a nice looking video. The only gripe that I have is with the remote. You can program multiple channels on it. I have one light on channel 1 and the other on 2. The problem comes in when you switch between channels, it doesn't keep the setting that the light is on. So say I set channel 1 to 4600k & 100% power. When I switch to channel 2, those settings remain and I have to adjust to what I want. Lets say I put channel 2 at 3200k & 50% power. Honestly no problem with that, when I first turn on the lights BUT, when I switch back to channel 1, instead of showing what the lights are set to, it has the setting for what I last put in for channel 2. So if I just wanted to drop the power to 90% I have change the temp back up to 4600k and then change the power up to 90%. My previous lights that are not as bright as these would display what the light was actually set to. So maybe I'm spoiled or maybe I'm doing something wrong. Either way I love the lights and have learned to live with that little inconvenience. I highly recommend. Especially for YouTubers and Streamers.

I had a bulky old 3-light kit and it was such a hassle to set up and store that I was resistant to taking photos and making videos for my business in the non-sunny months. Which are a lot of the months in Oregon. Not anymore! I am thrilled at how useful this set is for such a great price. They are very easy to set up and take down and they are sturdier than my old set too! The lights store safely in their bag, and while there isn't a bag to gather everything in, they fit in an ottoman with storage space in my office, so they're always at hand. Having the remote has been fantastic for me as I'm able to set up video lighting while seeing myself on camera - no walking back and forth dozens of times needed! I was looking at ring lights because I see everyone using them, but after a lot of research, I realized that for the type of work I do, which includes videos in my kitchen and photographing products and food, this is a better choice. Wish I would have bought these sooner!

I am soooo glad I invested in these! I knew someone who had lights similar to these, and they were very good quality because of the enology to add or reduce the shade! These were the most similar and I’m glad because they are made well! I love that Gm they are metal and I love how bright they are. The problem had was with the remote. The remote stopped working. Another small problem is that I wish it had the ability to have a phone holder somewhere on the lamp or that it came with one so that I could easily take pictures, then thaw would be prefect 10/10. But because of those problems I rate this a 7/10. Other than that I love the quality for sure! So much better than many other lights here on this site.

This is a duplicate review of my first purchase of these panels I purchased. I needed this purchase of additional panels to confirm my original was not previously used. I like these LED panels. Could always use more power but considering this is a bi-color LED it is to be expected. The operation is straight forward and intuitive. The rear LCD readout is helpful. One item I don't like and for me really bothersome is that there is no protective cover on the LCD panel to protect it during packaging and shipment. The rear LCD panel is pretty scratched up. In fact, I thought it was a used unit. The unit is operating correctly to the best of my knowledge but I don't have a color temperature light meter to verify the accuracy of its settings. I've recently purchased two more of these units from a different seller and confirmed there is no protective cover over the rear LCD screen.

I'm a retired professional studio photographer. Since Covid, I've been doing a lot of "tabletops," small products, just for fun and practice. I've been using real simple clamplamps with household LEDs, but I wanted barndoors for better control. The first picture is the final version, and the original white background was replaced with a gray-to-gray graduation. The second picture is how the lights were arranged: the upper left one was at 5000°K, full power, with the lower barndoor raised to feather the light off the subjects. The top light was also at 5000°K but cut to 50%. Dimming the array *does not affect color temperature*, which can be dialed in anywhere from north sky light to candlelight. The last picture I turned off the top light to show where the background light was aimed and feathered. Two features I especially like are the barndoors, and the consistency of color temperature across the board. You can even mix-and-match, with, say, warmer light on one unit and cooler on the other. These are terrific lights for any purpose. I haven't shot portraits indoors in years, but I plan to try them on portraits soon.

I just use these for the first time today and I'm totally satisfied. It is easy to set up and easy-to-use. The lights get really bright and are grate for my YouTube videos. My only quirk is at the remote seems to work for both lights at the same time. I might need to be a little more practice

This kit is worth the investment, no question. Would be worth it for one light alone. Instead you get two, and stands, and a remote, and it's the deal of the year.

Did an indoor video shoot where I wanted more control over the lights. The sun from the windows and halogens were the main lights but to keep it steady I added those two advanced LED panels and it worked amazingly well. The lights were steady and bright. I recommend those units as they are sturdy and professional. I also got a soft box for one panel but I found it was not convenient. That soft box also came stained.

Once I received the lights, I discovered six of the LEDs not working & file my complaint to the support team. On the next day, Sue has been immensely helpful and give me the option either if I want to keep the defective light (if it works for me) with a reasonable refund money or if I want to get a replacement. So, I accepted the refund by keeping the defective light. I love Neewer products even in odd times some fail in quality, but the wonderful customer support is perfect. So, I still believe in Neewer quality equipment as always, a dedicated support behind them. So, 5 stars on products & customer support. From a happy customer!

I was more than pleasantly surprised with how good these were. the quality of the lights them selves is awesome! easy to adjust brightness and color! the carrying cases are an added bonus!. my only complaint is the light stands. yes they work but are short, and bend easily when extended, I would have gladly paid extra to see these beefed up as the lights them selves are awesome!! Lights: 10 / 10 Stands: 5 / 10 for the price: Great deal
