It’s a completely different color than it shows on the pictures. I got root beer float and what I got was like a bright pink color. It also was broken when I opened it. Very disappointed.

I hate lipstick. It's usually all over everything. I was gifted this in my stocking 1 christmas and I do like the texture and this color. It doesn't last so need something on top to keep it from coming off. Still 5 stars for lipstick.

The root beer float color is nice. It’s a pink/mauve color with brown undertones. It looks just a tad bit darker on me than I like so I normally add a lighter pink lip gloss with it to soften it up. My ethnicity is Polynesian mix with an olive complexion. I actually thought this was going to be a sheer lipstick with buildable color, but it’s a true lipstick. The texture is smooth and glides on, but has a bit of a matte finish. Overall a good choice, but a little darker than I prefer.

I have a lot of NYX lip products and their Butter lipstick is among my favorites. This color is listed as Pops but I received Rootbeer Float. No problem though, because Rootbeer Float is so pretty. Pops is more of a cool tone pink/brown and Rootbeer Float is a more warm toned pink/brown. This is a nice daytime casual color. My only complaint is that it's the only Butter product by NYX that seems to dry down on my lips and almost become matte after a couple hours. It still looks pretty and not patchy, it just dries up. I freshen the color by applying lip balm over it to wake it back up.

I ordered this lipstick in the colors Pops and Licorice about three days ago and was happily surprised to find them in my mailbox after a day and a half. Licorice is going to be a great fall color (though I might start wearing it now even though it's still summer...). I expected Pops to be a mauve type color and was a little disappointed that it ended up being more of a medium toned pink but it makes a great "my lips but better" type of color so I love it anyway! The staying power is pretty good too, it just needs a little touching up in the center of the lips after a couple hours or eating. All in all, a great lipstick and I'll definitely be ordering more colors!

I purchased this based on the color of the tube and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a soft neutral color but got this nice pop! I haven’t tried it all day yet but when I wore it around the house yesterday it lasted and felt moisturizing without being too glossy. My only complaint is that the lipstick stick broke in half inside (maybe during delivery) so it’s not stable to apply and rolls around in the tube making a mess. It also got squished against the lid.

This is a great product very faithful to the description. And it has been delivered very fast too! Good deal.

I love NYX Cosmetics, especially the lipsticks! Decided to try the butter lipsticks for the first time. Has a natural pinkish tone rather than the root beer color. The lipstick glides on so smoothly, and feels comfortable on my lips. Lasted me up to 3 1/2 to 4 hours before it dries out. Super soft on my lips. Already got a compliment on it, and I've only had it two days. Love the packaging, exactly as expected and happy with this product overall. 5/5 would recommend.

Arrived quickly, but more of a pinky colour than peach. The lipstick feels nice on but you need to reapply a lot through the day.
