Kept the pests away
Used this while camping and we think it actually kept the raccoons away along with the pack rats! Easy to set up, was effective and seems to be of good quality.

Efficient
I have had a serious mouse/chipmonk problem in my garage since 2021 and have had mice/chipmonks getting into my cabin filter on my car and chewing their way through into the fan motor housing and cage 4 different times now. PLUS--the last 2 times the critters chewed my cage, destroyed the fan and motor and left so many small acorns in the cage that the service repairman had to use a shop vac to get them all out! Cost so far?? About $3500! A friend recommended using an battery operated ultrasonic mouse repellent device so I am trying this brand. So far I have installed 5--one in the engine, one in the glove compartment and 3 surrounding front of my car facing the engine in my garage. I also have placed a 3M sticky backed mouse repellent that dissolves over 30 days that has 4 scents that the critters are supposed to dislike...we'll see on that. I've sprayed pure peppermint oil everywhere before I purchased these and the rodents got in anyways. I want to add that in many of the previous reviews that I read that changing the batteries were difficult. Not so with these--now there's a flip up top instead of the tiny screw and I can pop the batteries in without difficulty. So far I have had the devices running 3 weeks and I'm praying that this will do the trick. Update 9/19/2023 I have not seen or had any issue with my car regarding the rodents in the garage, or the new mouse repellents that I installed at the bottom of my oven. I have replaced the batteries twice and I think that the problem may be solved. The true test will come in Oct/Nov when the little critters are looking for someplace warm. A this point I would say that this is an excellent solution (and less costly) than the other items I have used in the past. But I will add that it is imperative that you keep the schedule of 45- 50 day intervals with battery change-outs to keep the units working seemlessly.

Automobile Mouse Control Tool: Necessary but not sufficient
My 3 vehicles, parked on my driveway, have had consistent evidence of mouse habitation; mostly acorn bits and droppings in the Cabin Air Filter Housings. This spring, I had mice chew through several critical engine wiring harnesses on my Sedona resulting in major repair costs. I bought one Angveirt Repeller per car and checked the cabin filters weekly to see if the mice were 'repelled'. I used Eneloop AA Rechargeable batteries for power. They installed easily with velcro adhesive strips in the Engine Compartments in a cool location which had evidence of mouse debri. For good measure, I also sprayed the engine compartment with Peppermint Oil and added Mice poisoned bait traps under the car and on the opposite side of the engine compartment. The results after 6 weeks of use: 1. Units LED/Ultrasonic units work for at least 4 weeks on a charge. 2. Mice still occupy my cabin filters. (They need to climb up into the engine compartments to get in). 3. Mice were not tempted by the Bait adjacent to the Repeller and did not seem to chew any Peppermint flavored wires. 4. The mice seem to want a dry, safe nesting site and probably tend to enter the vehicles if the cars are left idle for more than a day or so. My verdict is that a combined approach and daily monitoring is needed to control the mice problem. The mice are finally nibbling at the bait traps under the car and I hope that this eliminates the local population. January 2021 Update. Upgraded rating to 4 stars: Monthly inspections have shown no evidence of Rodent activity in my 3 autos parked outdoors. My key take-aways are: 1. A combination of poison-bait traps, Peppermint Oil spraying and the Angveirt Repellant kept rodents out of my autos. The last 4 monthly checks showed zero droppings in my cabin air filters. 2. My 3 Angveirt Repellent units have worked flawlessly for 7 months. The 3 AA Eneloop NiMH batteries in each unit kept the units operating for a full month between recharges.

Doesn't work and we learned it the hard way.
Doesn't work and we had to learn that the hard way. Had two of these, in an RV on the floor, and in the engine compartment. This year we discovered the RV had mice living it in, coming and going every day right past the one in the engine compartment, and inside the RV about two feet away from this gadget. They destroyed lots of clothing and towels, and left droppings all over the place. We could tell the device was "working" because the lights would flash. These so-called deterrents were in the RV for over a year, so we thought they were working the whole time, but apparently when the mice decided to move in, they completely ignored and were unfazed by these gadgets. It's also a pain to replace the batteries as you have to use a small screwdriver each time. A real waste of time, money and effort, and what a mess to clean up. There are poison pellets and mouse traps that we've used to rid the RV of mice (and those work VERY well), but these electronic products are worthless.

Craziest "Chick Magnet". . . . Ever???
Installed these in all my autos that spend some time outdoors! After discovering a major rat 'nest' in my Subaru engine compartment, I decided to put one of these in my RV, and even in a vintage Saab Viggen 93!! Today, I was parked outside an office, while getting my monthly haircut in a nearby salon. When I came out to leave, a woman from the office, directly in front of my car, came out, and said "Your car is making some weird sounds!" I explained how this device, mounted in the engine bay comes on at random times, to scare off rodents! Then. .. . . . another, rather interesting co-worker came out, and shook my hand, and chimed in, with more interest, in the mystery device!! She gave me a compliment: . . . . on my firm handshake, and wandered off!! Never had any idea, these "Rodent Repellents", actually attracted female humans!!!

I was very sceptical ordering the rodent deterrent we have a very bad issue outside with rats and getting into the engine bay, it's been a month and no more sign of rat poop, I find the product is most effective at the very front inside the engine bay facing the light and speaker towards the engine

Bought it to get rid of a possum in the roof, didn't work. Possum still there!
