Q: If it says 2.0 compatible, does it still work in the original Keurig?

I am not sure. My Keurig is about 7 years old. Not original but theae k cups worked great.

Q: Why is it 40.00 when you can buy it in store for 24.98 that is a huge mark up.

Unfortunately, with shipping charges and Amazon fees, we sellers cannot sell it for anything less or we would be losing money. Size of box and weight is also a factor (more the size, in this case). Keep in mind there are many buyers who are not near HEB stores, so this is a convenience for them to get these products with Amazon's two day free shipping straight to their door.
