Dries quick but I'm going to let dry a full 24hrs before I wear my shoes as recommended. I did 2 coats of Matte and it's not exactly a matte finish but I'm ok with that. You get a lot in the bottle that is 4oz. Because the product is thin. I do recommend using thin coats as it will run a lot because of the consistency. But I didn't run into any issues with my paint running or smudging when the sealer was applied so that was good. I used a brush to apply the product. I'm not going to review the longevity bc this is my first time using and I haven't been able to wear the shoes yet. First pic is of just paint so it's very flat. Second 2 pics are of both shoes painted and sealed. Also added pics of directions and tips since I couldn't find them on Amazon.

Outstanding Performance. And yes like others have said Matte is actually closer to a satin sheen, but does dull down in time. Bonds to redyed colorant for a long lasting finish. I only wish it came in larger sizes like 16 oz. Can be applied with a high density foam roller. You just have to work out the small air bubbles

Our crafty daughter painted some black converse shoes and used these to fix the designs. Every thing looks great and the paint looks very well protected but no staining to surrounding areas.

Based on my experience, if you don't have an airbrush and want a matte finish, applying an ultra-thin layer with a microfiber cloth while using a blow dryer on high heat worked best for me. Use only a tiny amount of product (almost like the moisture level of an alcohol pad), otherwise it can become too shiny.

I love angelus leather paints and decided to try this product to seal over my son’s hockey goalie pads that I painted with angelus leather paint and water to protect to make last longer. Product goes on smooth and is easy to use airbrush or with a paintbrush. Top of the line company and product line is always my go to when you need leather paint. Finished product created a crystal clear looking set of Hockey Goalie pads that was eye-catching. The versatility of this product and the durability it allowed for my son’s goalie pads was better than expected. I will continue to use and recommend this line of product to anybody in need.

Easy to follow instructions. I applied it to custom painted canvas shoes. So far, so good.

This is a really great item to have. When you apply the finisher the consistency is like water. It spreads evenly around your surface. Once dried it looks glossy and very smooth with no brush marks. It works well when paired with an airbrush. I think it is good at protecting against scratches and water preventing damage to your paint. I used brush for phone case and airbrush for shoes!
