I’ve been taking the NOW Foods Maca 750 mg for a while, and I’m really impressed with the results. The capsules are easy to swallow, and there’s no strange aftertaste. I’ve noticed a steady boost in energy throughout the day and better overall mood and balance. It also seems to help with stamina and general well-being, which is exactly what I was looking for. I like that it’s a clean, raw formula with no unnecessary fillers. Overall, a great supplement — effective, reliable, and excellent value for the price. Highly recommend!

I love this stuff! I've been taking this Maca product now for about 7-8 weeks. In fact, I will need to order a new bottle soon. I started taking Maca after doing my own research about natural herbs that aid in fertility; since I'd suffered two miscarriages this year. I'm 38 now and have felt my hormones starting to go haywire after turning 35 so I thought this had to be somewhat of a reason why I keep losing babies. Now bringbin Maca root, I'd read several articles about the historical link shown between herbal supplementation with maca root and the sustainability of pregnancies. Evidently it is said to increase libido, reproductive health and support fertility as well as increase energy- all big pluses in my quest. Afterall, seeking answers to the losses becomes all consuming sometimes and with the bloodwork from the doctor coming back generally okay, it was worth a try. Prior to taking this, I'd searched high and low for negative effects by maca root and couldn't really find any at all. So, this all leads me to share my Maca experience with you. PRODUCT: They come in capsule form and are rather large. I have no problem in swallowing pills but I have actually pulled the capsule apart and sprinkled the powder in a morning veggie juice. I'd read some comments about the taste; I don't mind the taste, it has a nutty flavor to it but not too overwhelming. I take 2-3 daily. I take one when I wake up either with or without food then I take another mid morning on sporadic occasion I will take two on my mid morning dose. * It is true that I read it was not recommended to take them after 2pm as it may keep you away. I have taken it before around 1:45-2:30pm and after tossing and turning remembered I must've taken them too late. REGARDING ASSOCIATION TO PREGNANCY: While my sweet husband and I are not actively "trying" (as I've read to give some of these herbs a couple of months to regulate), I cannot say I've gotten the "BFP" yet. But I will say I've noticed a marked difference in my energy levels when I take it and a definite increase in libido. (hubby says SCORE!) There are also other uh, um, shall I say, personal changes in regards to the abundance of fluids- remarkable- but I will leave those details out as I'm sure one can imagine. That being said, this maca product delivers what it promises in regards to "increasing" the flow of things!! I will also mention that I began taking the herb Vitex chaste tree berry in September but did not start taking the Maca until end of Octobe. I can positively say I notice a big difference in the overall feeling of my hormones regulating and stabilizing. The improvements I mentioned earlier are distinctly associated with my taking the maca! I especially like the NOW brand because I know I'm getting a good quality herb from a reputable company. I hope to be updating this post in a couple of months with the gleaming results of a BFP and sustained healthy pregnancy. OVERALL RATING: I highly recommend these Now brand raw maca powder capsules! I might be different than others in my use of maca. I have found that it makes me feel a bit strange during the day. I take Maca in the evening, around 8 pm. I find that it gives a slight boost of energy and clearer mind. Again, most people would suggest taking something like this during the day. However, typically, I am up rather late, and 8 pm is an OK time for a slight boost. Now, onto talk of "enhanced curves." If you research maca, you will read that many women have experienced weight gain in their hip and rear areas. Since this new millennium has been all about the "booty," it seems to have become a more popular product. I will put it to you like this; I was having some issues with my weight, and lost about 25 pounds over the summer. I attribute this to a personal trainer and to a particular fat burner, which completely lessened my appetite. I was happy to have slimmed down, but guess what seems to have went with it? You guessed it! So, I took this and simultaneously stopped using the fat burner. Immediately, I noticed an increase in sex drive. The "booty" part hit me a few weeks later, when I went shopping for the holidays. I live in New York City, and decided to entertain myself and go to Macy's in herald square. I had on a very fitted pair of khaki pants, and let's just say that I got some attention. I would be looking at something, and men would come from behind me to the front to tell me how nice I looked. This happened throughout the day. I am not saying that is what you should aim to accomplish. However, it does not become much more unbiased than that! This stuff really works. It won't transform you over night, but I will certainly attest that it can enhance what you do have. I think it's worth a shot :) I will admit however, that it did seem to increase my water retention in the stomach area. That is where the working out and clean diet come into play. I certainly have seen an improvement since incorporating these aspects into my lifestyle.

I forgot how I ran into Maca but i did some research on it and seen where it helped with hormomes, fertility and stuff. After coming off birth control over a year ago I've only gotten one period (Never will i go on bc again) .... I'm still taking these so I dont know if theyll help in that section but I will say these have helped my energy!! I use to be tired all the time... It was horrible but since I started taking these I've been tired when I'm suppose to be tired!!! Which is pretty freakin awesome for me... I can say I've gotten more cm , so I'm hoping it will help me get my period back. If not, I might try a different version of it .. Or just give up, this was a last resort for me. I wasnt even gonna try anything else but I accidentally ran across it and figured I'd give it a chance. FYI, these reek and taste horrible!!! I take them with soda to mask the taste!

A friend told me this helped her get pregnant, so I decided to try it since my partner and I have been trying for a while with no luck. She also mentioned it can enhance your bust, which I’ve always wanted, so I was excited to give it a try!
