It's hard to write a super-duper review of a belt. I mean, a belt is a belt, right? Well, I have a closet full of mediocre belts that disagree with that statement. This is a thick, strong leather belt built to Levi's exacting standards. The size I ordered was exactly the distance from the connection between the clasp and the leather to the middle of seven holes, so I have three inches to grow or shrink before this belt doesn't fit. I'm replacing a similar Levi's belt that I bought nearly 20 years ago (and used almost every day). This has a very similar feel and looks good (yes, it's casual, but formal belts seem to wear out within a year). My old belt didn't even look very worn, and I expect this one will last me a long time as well.

Nothing fancy, it’s a solid Levi’s belt, simple design, the solid black is a good look for a casual or business style. Excellent value for the price. My husband is very happy with it. The only note I will make is that it’s very, very stiff so that into consideration.

I had been looking for a replacement for a 6 year old Levi's belt that looked identical to this one. I could not tell the difference from my old belt to the one in the picture when I ordered. The replacement belt "looks" the same and it seems "ok," but the new belt feels like it is of substantially lower quality than the 6 year old belt I was replacing. Time will tell as I plan on using this belt frequently, as I did with the original one I bought.
