My ps4 is very loud well this make it quiter?

I have bought this it did nothing to the noise or the tempriture of the PlayStation. I would not waste your money. You need to open up PS4, add nee thermal paste and replace thermal pads. Seems extreme and complicated but it is really easy there are loads of YouTube videos telling you how to do it.

I cannot tell if the fan is on or off, as i can’t hear it and the ps4 pro is still getting super hot. any tips?

If you listen close you can hear the fan, press it on and off little black button. I was told by a gaming store only to use this device for charging pads on as it will not cool down the PS4 only makes things hotter. Yeah I know what your thinking. If I was you google gamer tech they will repair/clean it keep in mind they take a while. Hope this helps.
