HitachiHPP0004 Direct Injection High Pressure Fuel Pump

Car would not be running without this part. Good for stock tune, if you're mapped you will want to upgrade to something with extra performance... My stock 2006 a3 likes it. Came quickly. The image of product might be generic. The one I was shipped matched my ruined one. Car is 8P series, first gen camshaft, slagged cam follower and then hpfp, then another few followers, then another pump. Finally got greasy and put new intake cam, timing chain, new hpfp, cam follower, pcv valve, timing belt, rollers, water pump, coolant, much oil changing, and serviced dsg. Just shy of 100k. Am probably needing to deal with intake manifold carbon thing and brakes soon too. I am thinking of going with new rotors and ceramic pads. The stock pads have poured soot onto rims since it was new. If I didn't have to clean rims so much I'd be thrilled. I put a proper trailer hitch on it the other day to tow my lido 14 sailboat. Pulling boat with a3 sounds dumb but works great. Cheers!

Please read this before ordering or asking questions... !!!!this will fit the Audi 2.0T FSI engine and the VW TFSI engine ( roughly 2005.5 to 2009 ) . Please do your own research pop your hood and see if it looks the same..The early pump has a banjo fitting . This pump is FULLY compatible with that pump . you just have to take the fitting off the old pump and swap them with the fittings on the new pump. Additionally the early cars do NOT have a pressure relief valve , but this pump has a port for one. Do not waste your money and buy this . just get a small screw plug and crush washer . ( top tip ) install one of your long torx bolts before putting the plug in as it will now be captive as the head will hit the plug. )The pressure sensor is built into the end of the pump shown in the pic but there is another sensor that screws into the top , that one is not included and what you get is what you see in the pic.Again no big deal just swap parts over.You will likely need a new cam follower not included but the oil seal for the pump is as you can see it in the pic. Works as expected. My only issue is that I have a B7 (2006) Audi A4, and this comes with the push-on fuel line adapter, not the fitting for the banjo bolt. So you need to buy that separately, and was another $37.

If you car is stock with no mods and you drive normal would probably be fine. But if your tuned or have mods its junk will overheat

Looks like, it's dosen't solve my problem in my 2007 vw passat, with the fuel Mechanical pump. I still have check engine on, and the ODB computer it's says problem with fuel Mechanical pump. The car doesn't runs more than 60 miles. The mechanic says my car needs the original from the dealer. I was fighting whith my mechanic, because he was sure, this pump was not the right one, and me, i was convicted for the oposite. I bought a original use one, and now the car it's flying. Definitly this High Pressure Fuel Pump Hitachi HPP0004 dosn't fit for 2007 VW Passat 2.0T SW. Now i want to return back, but , i'ts passed the 30 days, and i think the seller i'ts not going to accept the return. I not recomended.

VW quoted $565.67 CAD for the hpfp (high pressure fuel pump) amazon had an amazing deal and essentially is the exact same Hitachi pump I had go out on my golf GTI mk5, have yet to install but will no doubt be pleased once Im back up and running. Highly recommended
