The first time I ordered this syrup it was great! This time it is completely different. It's a light color instead of amber brown, and has a terrible chemical taste. I will not buy again! This maple syrup really taste great! No sweetener aftertaste at all! Real maple syrup flavor. We love it... I will buy again!

I've tried the Lakantos maple flavored syrup and Birch Benders magic maple syrup. Both of them had this weird overly sweet taste that I ended up throwing away both products after only trying them once. Maybe it was the monk fruit? I decided to give Better Foods maple syrup a try because it's made with allulose instead of monk fruit. This syrup taste just like the real thing! It's a bit on the thinner when compared to regular maple syrup. Eating my keto almond flour waffle with keto chocolate chips with the syrup poured over tasted like I was having a regular waffle! This syrup is worth every penny and I will definitely be buying this again.

Zero stars! I have been keto over 4 years and I am no stranger to "other" sweeteners and how different they taste from regular sugar. I've used them all, stevia, erythritol, xylitol, monkfruit, allulose, and more. I've even used unsweetened flavorings, including a maple flavor. This "maple syrup" is absolutely, disgustingly horrendous. It tastes like I'm drinking toilet cleaner. It even makes my mouth burn and feel numb. Not tingly or cool like xylitol, but just a burning numbness. Made me feel sick too. The bottle I got wasn't dark like the picture, but lighter like honey colored. I'm so sad I wasted my money on this. Don't make my mistake!

I thought the first order was great, much better sugar free syrup than other non allulose based syrups. I bought 2 bottles this time because it was out of stock for a while. The color was lighter...but I gave it the benefit of the doubt thinking just variation. No, the taste was horrible. Will NOT buy again.

If you think this tastes like maple syrup, then you’ve forgotten what maple syrup tastes like. Tastes like a chemical cleaner with little to no maple flavor. I added maple flavor, then it tasted like maple scented chemical cleaner.

My search for a maple syrup substitute has been long, expensive and mostly disappointing. Weak flavours, disappointing textures, questionable ingredients, and even Stevia! (gives me migraines). But this product pushes all the right buttons for me, fitting into my medical needs (diabetic), dietary needs (0g Net Carbs; I'm on a low carb diet for diabetes) and taste needs (Yum). This product is such a worthy replacement for the real maple syrup that I can't have, that my best friend swigged it right from the bottle, declaring, "This is delicious!" I wholeheartedly agree. While the product isn't cheap, it isn't something that I use every day, and it has expanded my ability to make recipes calling for maple syrup that I routinely avoided before now, and that makes a big difference in my life. In short, I highly recommend this excellent product! It may not be well known, but I sure am glad to have found it. Thank you, Best Foods!

I purchased this product after reading the reviews and was impressed that 70% of the reviews were 5 stars. I honestly think that whomever those 5-star customers are, they have NO idea what maple syrup tastes like. This product is absolutely disgusting! Since I cannot get a refund, this product will be thrown in the trash. Very disappointing!

The product is a great consistency. However it has such a chemical taste I can’t stomach it. It tastes like a truck load of Splenda and chemicals are mixed into a syrup. I was looking for something to replace the know Foods allulose syrup. Unfortunately this won’t work.
