Just don't be a sucker and buy the expensive XOX brand one that sheds brush bristles all over your food. This one is practical and works wonderfully

And because I used it to paint instead of just put stuff on food, it wore out very quickly, but I can’t necessarily blame the brush on that. I didn’t use it for what it was supposed to be used for but guess what? It worked, and it actually worked very well and it lasted several months before it died out. So if you can handle painting, stairs and walls, I think it can definitely handle your food for years.

I haven’t had the occasion to use this yet. But it seems to be a good quality brush

I like the thicker handle. I don't feel like it is going to bend in half when I am scrapping the bottom of a pan of mixing something heavy. These are built to last! My overall favorite!

I got this brush because my silicone brushes were falling apart, which was not so great, especially if the bristles fall off while you're using them. I use this brush primarily to brush egg or butter onto baked goods or meats. It works perfectly and in fact does a better job of brushing than a silicone brush which doesn't really 'hold' the liquid. Some warm soapy water, and this brush is clean - easy. Very happy with it.

The brush is not to hard so the spreading of a coat of butter or egg wash works great for pies and pastries.

After using and washing a couple of times, the bristles are getting really stiff almost unusable. Not a fan.

It was really difficult to find a non-silicone basting brush, so was really pleased to find this on Amazon. We use it for our waffle iron and so far no lost bristles or rust.
