1/2” Inch Shank 2-1/4” (Dia.) Bottom Cleaning Router Bits (Mortising Bit, Spoil Board Surfacing, Slab Flattening Woodworking Milling Cutter) with Carbide Tipped

This cutter did a fine job for my project. I needed to "clean up" existing blind holes with tapered sides so that I could plug them correctly on a vintage explosives crate lid. No complaints. 300 RPM and fed it slowly on a drill press. Clamped piece very securely. Very clean cut and size is perfectly 2-1/4". Ran very true. Sides of hole perfectly square to bottom. No tear out or anything. Couldn't have been easier to use. For doing a blind hole about 1/2" deep, this was much better than using a Forstner bit, IMO. If I had needed to go completely through lid to make a through hole, it would have done that without issue, also.

this thing really does a great job and cuts right through. no binding, really removes a lot of wood quickly. The first one I bought I planed both sides of 2 large hickory slabs, 2 large log rounds, 10' 3" thick Red Oak and now my two 5' 3" thick red oak slabs. It made it through just about all before getting dull and I had to change to finish last slab of red oak. Put new one on and it went right through, no issues.

Really like this tool. Used it a lot and no chipping of the cutting edge like others I have replaced.

Ran the bit thru 1400 feet of wet pine, removing 0.5"x0.5" channel. worked fine with no signs of dulling. would reccomend, good bit for the money.

We bought this as an alternative to having our Black Walnut slabs planed due to the size, weight and proximity to an industrial planer. We have been blown away by the ease of use and the finished product! We built a sled for the router to sit in and be guided through and it worked out very nicely. The picture is after sanding with 80 grit then 120 then 220. The bit held up nicely though this wood is very hard. Definitely would recommend this product.

This seems like a solid bit unfortunately it is to big for my router so I wasn’t able to try it out, it has a 1/2 inch shank and seems to be very substantial I’d say if your looking for a 1/2 inch shank surface bit this is a great value for the price

I just wanted to level out the bottom of a wood item so I could put my brand on the bottom. Even using a drill press and going very slowly this item 'walked' and potentially dangerous in my opinion.

Haven’t had a chance to use it but was most impressed with the warranty and the delivery time.

Product worked well. Seller was good to deal with.
