Montblanc Cruise Collection White Rollerball Pen (111826)

Bought this pen for my husband on his birthday and he couldn't be happier with it. Writes beautifully, light weight and sleek looking.

Love the pen, ink did not last long.

Honestly speaking I thought the pen would be a little bit heavier and not so smooth.

Although I do use this pen daily I recently noticed that the pocket clip has become very loose....not where it wiggles or has play in it but in the way that fits along the body of the pen. I fear that this may lead to my losing this pen!Although this may seem like a relatively minor reason to jump to any conclusion of the pens authenticity I had the pen for less than a week when I dropped it and the jewel shot across the room! Having just purchased the pen (and not wanting to give it back and be without the reward that I had *just* given myself) I decided against immediately seeking a replacement. I used a high quality superglue to refasten it and went back to being happy to finally have my Montblanc. In retrospect it does also seem like the ink refill that the pen shipped with started skipping like the ink was out sooner than any refill that I have used since. I'm not sure if the Cruise has one or not, but there is also no serial number on this pen. Also, the engraving is not as "polished" in finish as I expected to see. If this were an ebay purchase I would file for a refund, maybe I should have done more research, I didn't expect "bootleg pens" to be a legitimate concern! (especially not from an Amazon purchase)

I think you get what you pay for. This model is not a good example of a Mont Blanc pen. I returned the item. It appeared plastic and not good quality.
