TV? Is there a screen or is it just audio?

It would play the audio from TV stations. Back before everything went digital. I don't believe it's possible to pick up the tv signals any longer.

How do i power off the cd player on the sony d-nf430 mp3/atrac walkman and avoid wasting battery ?

Hi Cruz R ramos, Unfortunately, this unit doesn't have a power button/switch. However, the unit is on standby mode when you're not listening to it so it will not consume the battery. You may also remove the battery when not in use. Hope this helps! -Sam
